Talisa Thomalla (born 5 May 2003) is a German pair skater. With her former skating partner, Robert Kunkel, she has competed at two World Junior Championships, placing 12th in 2017 and 7th in 2018. Petite Fleur
"Petite Fleur" is an instrumental written by Sidney Bechet and recorded by him in January 1952, first with the Sidney Bechet All Stars and later with Claude Luter and his Orchestra. Chris Barber recording In 1959, it was an international hit as a clarinet solo by Monty Sunshine with Chris Barber's Jazz Band. This recording, which was made on October 10, 1956, peaked at No. 5 on the US Hot 100 and No. 3 in the UK charts. Outside the UK Chris Barber's version was extremely big in Sweden topping the Swedish best selling chart for no less than 12 weeks according to the branch paper ''Show Business''. Pink Martini is an American band that was founded in 1994 by pianist Thomas Lauderdale in Portland, Oregon. Group members call it a little orchestra that crosses several styles, such as classical, latin, traditional pop, and jazz. The co-lead vocalists of Pink Martini are China Forbes and Storm Large. History Thomas Lauderdale has worked in politics since his years in high school in his hometown of Portland, Oregon. He considered the music at most fundraisers loud and boring. So as a remedy he founded the band Pink Martini in 1994, crossing genres such as classical, latin, traditional pop, and jazz to appeal to a broad audience. During the following year, he called China Forbes, one of his colleagues from Harvard University, and invited her to join the band. Ernesto Lecuona
Ernesto Lecuona y Casado (; August 7, 1896 – November 29, 1963) was a Cuban composer and pianist, many of whose works have become standards of the Latin, jazz and classical repertoires. His over 600 compositions include songs and zarzuelas as well as pieces for piano and symphonic orchestra. In the 1930s, he helped establish a popular band, the Lecuona Cuban Boys, which showcased some of his most successful pieces and was later taken over by Armando Oréfiche. In the 1950s, Lecuona recorded several LPs, including solo piano albums for RCA Victor. He moved to the United States after the Cuban Revolution and died in Spain in 1963. Paul Boll (born 13 November 1986) is a German ice dancer. With former partner Tanja Kolbe, he is the 2006 German junior national champion and placed 16th at the 2006 World Junior Championships.
