Takhmina Ikromova
Takhmina Ikromova (born 6 August 2004) is an Uzbekistani rhythmic gymnast. She is an Asian Games champion individually and in the team event, and she is also a two-time all-around champion at the Asian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, in 2022 and 2023. Career Early years Ikromova began rhythmic gymnastics when she was five after being brought to the gym by her mother. She won several international competitions for young gymnasts. Junior She represented Uzbekistan at the 2019 Junior World Championships in Moscow, Russia and finished in 11th place in the Team competition. Individually, she placed 10th in both the rope and ribbon qualifications. Senior At the 2021 Asian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, she won the silver medals in the all-around, clubs and ribbon finals and a gold medal in the hoop final. Asian Gymnastics Championships
The Asian Gymnastic Union (AGU) organizes Asian Gymnastics Championships for each of the FIG gymnastic disciplines: men's and women's artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, acrobatic gymnastics, aerobic gymnastics and trampoline gymnastics. This article lists only the senior editions of the Asian Gymnastics Championships, in which competitors must be over 16 years of age. Sabina Tashkenbaeva (born 27 November 2000 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan) is an Uzbekistani rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2019 Asian Championships all-around gold medalist. Career Tashkenbaeva began training in gymnastics in 2006. She became a member of Uzbekistan's national team in 2013 and made her international senior debut in 2016. Tashkenbaeva competed at the 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games, earning silver in the team event alongside compatriots Anastasiya Serdyukova and Nurinisso Usmanova, as well as bronze in both the clubs and ribbon individual competition. Yosmina Rakhimova (born 25 August 2006) is an Uzbek rhythmic gymnast. She represent her country in international competitions. Personal life Yosmina got involved in the sport in 2010, at age four, in Tashkent. Her dream is to win a gold medal at the Olympic Games like her idols Alina Kabaeva and Margarita Mamun. Career Rakhimova debuted at the 1st Junior World Championships in Moscow, placing 11th in teams, 30th with ball and 6th in the ball final. Ekaterina Olegovna Vedeneeva (russian: Екатерина Олеговна Веденеева; ; born 23 June 1994) is a Russian individual rhythmic gymnast competing for Slovenia since 2018. The 2022 FIG World Cup circuit in Rhythmic Gymnastics is a series of competitions officially organized and promoted by the International Gymnastics Federation. Formats On February 26, 2022, the International Gymnastics Federation cancelled all events scheduled to take place in Russia and Belarus due to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. 2021 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships
The 2021 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships were held from 27 to 31 October 2021 in Kitakyushu, Japan. Dina Averina broke the record for the most medals won at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships with 22 total medals and also became the first gymnast to win four World all-around titles. Alina Harnasko won the gold medal in the ribbon, becoming the first non-Russian individual World Champion since 2013 and the first Belarusian individual World Champion since 1996.
