The taekwondo competitions at the 2013 Mediterranean Games in Mersin took place between 21 June and 23 June at the Edip Buran Sports Hall. Althéa Laurin (born 1 September 2001) is a French taekwondo athlete competing in the middleweight division. In 2021, she won the bronze medal in the women + 67 kg at the Tokyo Olympic Games and is also decorated Knight of the National Order of Merit. Career Laurin made her debut internationally in 2016. The following year, she won the European Taekwondo Junior Championships in Larnaca and then the gold medal at the 2018 Junior World Championship in Hammamet. İrem Yaman (born August 4, 1995) is a twice world champion Turkish taekwondo athlete competed in the lightweight division, and an amateur kickboxer. In 2021, she retired from the taekwondo.
