An NOC may enter up to six athletes, two male and two female athletes in singles events and up to one men's and one women's team in team events. Kalinikos Kreanga
Kalinikos Kreanga (born March 8, 1972) is a Greek (formerly Romanian) table tennis player. Born as Călin Creangă, he chose to defect from Communist-ruled Romania at the age of 17 (with his father) while he was participating in the European Table Tennis Youth Championships in Luxembourg in 1989. Born in Bistriţa, Romania, Kreanga started to play table tennis at the age of 7. His first coach was Gheorghe Bozga, who would later discover Mihaela Steff. While in Luxembourg, he received an offer to play in Greece, so he decided to move there. Being a minor, he quickly acquired Greek citizenship, and changed his name to Kalinikos Kreanga. He has been one of the dominant European table tennis players since the beginning of the 1990s, and uses the shakehand grip to hold the racket. Alexander Igorevich Shibaev (russian: Александр Игоревич Шибаев; born 9 September 1990 in Yaroslavl) is a Russian table tennis player. He won the doubles crown with Alexey Smirnov at the 2010 Slovenian Open. In 2011, he won a silver medal with Kirill Skachkov in the double event at the European Championships. Yang Zi (; born 19 June 1984, in Beijing, China) is a Chinese-born Singaporean former table tennis player. Career Yang joined the Singapore Table Tennis Association under the Foreign Sports Talent Scheme in 2003 and became a Singapore citizen two years later in 2005. He had represented Singapore in many major events such as 15th Asian Games, 18th Commonwealth Games and 23rd SEA Games. In 2005, Yang won 2 Pro Tour Men's Singles U21 titles and won the Pro Tour Grand Finals Men's Singles U21 title. He also won the silver medal in the Beijing Invitational. Zoran Primorac
Zoran Primorac (born 10 May 1969) is a retired male table tennis player from Croatia. He is a two-time winner of the World Cup and one of only three table tennis players to have competed at seven Olympic Games. His highest ITTF world ranking was number 2, in 1998. Biography Primorac was born in Zadar and started playing table tennis at the club STK "Bagat" in his home town. As a junior, he won seven medals at European championships. In 1985 he moved to the Zagreb club "Vjesnik", Caja Granada and UMMC Verkhnaya Pyshma. At the 1987 World Championship in New Delhi he won the silver medal together with Ilija Lupulesku, and repeated the success by winning the silver at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. Jean-Michel Saive (born 17 November 1969) is a Belgian former professional table tennis. Saive competed at seven consecutive Olympics between 1988 and 2012, and he was also a winner in singles at European Championship 1994. Personal life Born in Liège, Saive began playing as a small boy. His father was the tenth-ranked Belgian player, and his mother won the Belgian ladies' doubles championships when she was pregnant with him.
