TER Haute Normandie
TERTransport Express Régional Haute Normandie was the regional rail network serving the former region of Upper Normandy in France. In 2016 it was merged into the new TER Normandie. Trains are operated by the SNCF, services are subject to regulation by the Conseil Régional de Haute Normandie as all TER services are and are promoted using the TER branding. The Conseil Régional has since 2001 received several new multiple units diesel-electric, including single coach, double coach and refurbishment of three car DMUs. Normandy (; french: link=no, Normandie ; nrf, Normaundie, Nouormandie ; from Old French , plural of ''Normant'', originally from the word for "northman" in several Scandinavian languages) is a geographical and cultural region in Northwestern Europe, roughly coextensive with the historical Duchy of Normandy. Le Havre Station
Le Havre station ( French: ''Gare du Havre'') is the main railway station located in Le Havre, Seine-Maritime, France. The station was opened on 22 March 1847 and is located on the Paris–Le Havre railway. The train services are operated by SNCF. The station building was built in 1932 by Henri Pacon for the CF de l'Etat replacing the older building along with a new clock tower. It is a terminus and the passenger hall is parallel to the street. Of the old building, only the rooftop by Juste Lisch remains. Abancourt Station
Abancourt is a railway station located in the commune of Abancourt in the Oise department, in Picardy, France. It is primarily served by TER Hauts-de-France trains. Serqueux Station
Serqueux station ( French: ''Gare de Serqueux'')is a railway station in the commune of Serqueux in the Seine-Maritime department, France. It is an interchange station between the Amiens–Rouen line and the Gisors–Serqueux–Dieppe line. History The station also had a connection to Charleval Serqueux, an important railway junction, was bombed in World War II. The church and part of the village were destroyed, but the station, with its architecture typical of the Nord company, remained untouched. In November 2006, the administrative tribunal ruled the closure of the Serqueux–Dieppe section of the Paris Saint-Lazare to Dieppe line to be illegal, but the SNCF had already dismantled the line installations. The right of way has been turned into a greenway between Beaubec-la-Rosière and Saint-Aubin-le-Cauf. Amiens Station
Amiens station (locally known as: ''Gare du Nord'') is the main railway station for the Northern French city of Amiens. History The station opened on 15 March 1847 when the line to Abbeville started passenger operations. It was razed by German shelling in World War I, rebuilt, then destroyed again by the Allied forces during World War II and replaced by the present structure built in 1955 by Auguste Perret. A tower called the Tour Perret was built at the same time close to the station. The station district's buildings were collectively registered as a historic monument in 2004. Amiens is both a terminus and a through station. A concourse was built over the six platforms to facilitate passenger movement. Although the station front was built between adjoining buildings, the hall is as big as its Parisian counterparts. Gare Montparnasse
Gare Montparnasse (; Montparnasse station), officially Paris-Montparnasse, one of the six large Paris railway termini, is located in the 14th and 15th arrondissements. The station opened in 1840, was rebuilt in 1852 and relocated in 1969 to a new station just south of the original location – where subsequently the prominent Montparnasse Tower was constructed. It is a central element to the Montparnasse area. Lézarde Express Régionale
Lézarde Express Régionale or ''Chemin de Fer de la Vallée de la Lézarde'' is an express railway line between Le Havre and Rolleville in Seine-Maritime, France. The LER is a new fast service introduced in September 2001 to integrate this railway line into the Le Havre bus network and operated by the commune's council. History The line connecting Le Havre to Fécamp was opened in stages. A spur was opened between Graville and Montivilliers on 1 October 1876. An extension was then built to Rolleville and opened on 14 August 1896 with the last section to Les Ifs (on the Le Havre to Fécamp line) on 24 December of the same year.
