Ångfartygs AB Strömma Kanal, better known as the Strömma Kanalbolaget, is an operator of tourist shipping services in and around Stockholm, Sweden, as well as a number of ferry routes under the name Cinderellabåtarna in the same area. It is part of the group, which operates tourist services in a number of cities around Europe, including the City Sightseeing tourist bus franchise for Stockholm. History Ångfartygs AB Strömma Kanal was started in 1968 with the aim of saving historic ships from being scrapped. MV Östanå I
The ''Östanå I'' is a motor vessel, and former steam ship, that was built in 1905/6 at Stockholm. In 1913 she was sold to Waxholmsbolaget, with whom she remained in service until 1957. Between then and 1986 she was out of service and had a number of owners, and in 1985 she was converted to diesel power. In 1986 Strömma Kanalbolaget bought the ship. She is now used for tourist services in the Stockholm archipelago. She is a listed historic ship of Sweden. History ''Östanå I'' was ordered in 1905 from , on Södermalm in Stockholm, but that shipyard closed before the ship was completed. The finished parts were moved to , also on Södermalm, where she was completed and launched. MV ''Gustaf III'' is a steamship that still operates in Sweden today as of 2021. History Originally built as HMS ''Rindö'' in 1912, the ''Gustaf III'' was built by in Stockholm and was launched in 1912 as HMS ''Rindö'.'' She was delivered to the Coastal Artillery in Vaxholm , which used the ship for transports between Vaxön and Rindö until 1950.
