Stewart Anderson (bowls)
Stewart Anderson (born 23 July 1985) is a Scottish international bowls player and a world champion indoors. Bowls career He started bowling aged just 12 with Auchinleck Indoor Juniors and outdoor with Glaisnock Valley. Having previously been a beaten finalist in the 2010 World Championships (where he lost out to Greg Harlow) Anderson beat Paul Foster in the final match that ended 10-10, 10-9 to secure the 2013 World indoor title. In 2015 he won the triples gold medal at the Atlantic Bowls Championships. During the 2016 World Indoor Bowls Championship Anderson partnered up with Darren Burnett and the Scottish pair recorded their first Open Pairs title success. In 2018 he won the Scottish International Open. Later that season, Anderson became a two-time World Open singles champion, winning the 2019 World Indoor Bowls Championship. Ceri Ann Davies (born 15 December 1978), married name Ceri Ann Glen is an international lawn bowls player. Bowls career She made her debut for Wales aged just eleven. After competing for Wales since the age of eleven, she moved to Australia where she was courted by their Talent Identification Programme. After switching allegiance to Australia she won a silver medal in the triples at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. In 2008, she won the Women's singles and Mixed pairs during the 2008 World Indoor Bowls Championship and one year later she retained the Mixed pairs title at the 2009 World Indoor Bowls Championship with David Gourlay. Michael Stepney (born 1980) is a Scottish international indoor bowler. Alison Merrien
Alison Jayne Merrien (born 28 November 1974) is an indoor bowls player from Saint Peter Port, Guernsey. Bowls career Indoors Merrien won double gold in the women's singles defeating Karen Murphy and the mixed pairs with Simon Skelton the 2011 World Indoor Bowls Championship. She won a third medal eight years later in 2019 losing out to Julie Forrest of Scotland in the final. In 2022, she finally claimed a third title when winning the mixed pairs with Paul Foster and also reached the women's singles final. In the southern hemisphere equivalent the World Cup Singles she has won two titles in 2008 and 2012 and has finished runner up on three more occasions. Julie Forrest
Julie Forrest (born 3 November 1968) is a Scottish bowls player. Bowls career Outdoors Julie has won three World Outdoor medals, a silver medal in the fours at the 2000 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Johannesburg and two bronze medals as part of the Scottish team that competed in the Taylor Trophy. She also competed at the 1996, 2000 and 2016. She was selected to represent Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in 1998 and also won the Scottish National Bowls Championships pairs title in 1988 and triples title in 1997 bowling for Hawick. Simon Skelton
Simon Skelton is an English international lawn and indoor bowler. Bowls career Simon bowls for the Nottingham indoor club and Stute outdoor bowls club. During the 2002 Commonwealth Games he was part of the fours that won the gold medal with John Ottaway, Robert Newman and David Holt. In 2011 he won the mixed pairs title at the 2011 World Indoor Bowls Championship with Alison Merrien and four years later won the open pairs title with Robert Paxton. In addition to his international achievements he also won a National Championship title in 2009 representing Derbyshire and Stute BC.
