Steinar Hansson (31 May 1947 – 3 August 2004) was a Norwegian journalist and publisher. He was born in Asker. He worked as editor in the publishing house Pax Forlag, and edited the newspaper ''Ny Tid'' from 1979. From 1983 he worked for the publishing house J.W. Cappelens Forlag. He was cultural editor for the newspaper ''Arbeiderbladet'', and later for ''Dagbladet''. Steinar Pedersen
Steinar Pedersen (born 6 June 1975) is a former Norwegian association football, football Defender (association football), defender. He is the son of Erik Ruthford Pedersen and brother of Kjetil Ruthford Pedersen. Pedersen is the first Norwegian to win the UEFA Champions League. His career began with IK Start, Start. After their relegation in 1996, he played for Borussia Dortmund, IFK Göteborg and Lillestrøm SK, Lillestrøm before returning to Start in 2002. With Borussia Dortmund he won the 1996–97 UEFA Champions League, 1997 Champions League, although he did not play in the 1997 UEFA Champions League Final, final. Steinar Ofsdal
Steinar Ofsdal (born 4 October 1948) is a Norwegian composer and flutist. Career Ofsdal has since 1967 performed on numerous stages in Norway, and worldwide in different settings. He has performed alone or within one of his many bands, and is also known as one of the members of the folk group Bukkene Bruse, including Annbjørg Lien, Arve Moen Bergset and Bjørn Ole Rasch. He has written several compositions for his own concert use, and music for theater, film, television and radio. Ofsdal won the Spellemannprisen 1983 in the Open class for the album ''Hat Trick'' and Spellemannprisen 1989 with Per Midtstigen in the class Folk / Old Norwegian Folk Dance for the album ''Sjøfløyta''. Steinar Nilsen
Steinar Nilsen (born 1 May 1972) is a Norwegian football coach who has been in charge of Tromsø and Brann in the Norwegian Premier League. As a player, he played as a central defender at Tromsø and also had a notable stay in Italy's Serie A and Serie B, before retiring in 2004. He won two caps for Norway. Steinar Sverd Johnsen is a Norwegian keyboardist and composer, born 1972. Sverd plays keyboards and synthesizers in Arcturus and was also the main composer for the band. He formed the band with Jan Axel Blomberg (also known as Hellhammer) of Mayhem in 1987, originally under the moniker Mortem (where he played guitar). The band split up in April 2007, but reformed in 2011. In 1998, Sverd was recruited by the band, The Kovenant, known at the time as Covenant, along with Hellhammer.
