Steinar Nilsen
Steinar Nilsen (born 1 May 1972) is a Norwegian football coach who has been in charge of Tromsø and Brann in the Norwegian Premier League. As a player, he played as a central defender at Tromsø and also had a notable stay in Italy's Serie A and Serie B, before retiring in 2004. He won two caps for Norway. He is the brother of Roger Nilsen. Player career Nilsen played for Tromsø between 1989 and 1997, before he was sold to A.C. Milan. Nilsen then moved on to S.S.C. Napoli, before returning to Tromsø in 2003. Coaching career Tromsø After Per Mathias Høgmo resigned his job as head coach of Tromsø in 2005, Nilsen became assistant coach to Otto Ulseth, Høgmo's former assistant. A horrible start to Tromsø's season saw Ulseth fired and Nilsen promoted to head coach. Sigurd Rushfeldt
Sigurd Rushfeldt (born 11 December 1972) is a Norwegian football coach and former player who works as an assistant coach for Tromsø. During his playing career, he played for Tromsø, Birmingham City, Rosenborg, Racing de Santander, and Austria Wien. As a forward, he is well known for his strength and for being a prolific goalscorer. Rushfeldt is the all-time top goal scorer of Eliteserien. Rushfeldt scored 246 league goals in his career, including a record 172 in Eliteserien. Per-Mathias Høgmo (born 1 December 1959) is a football manager from Norway and former player. He is the former manager of the Norway national football team. He has previously been head coach of Norway women's national football team and the Tippeligaen sides Tromsø, Moss and Rosenborg. While being head coach of Tromsø he was working on a PhD in football at the University in Tromsø. Biography Høgmo grew up in the small community of Gratangen in southern Troms, and began his football career as a midfielder for his local club Gratangen IL. 2009 Tippeligaen
The 2009 Tippeligaen was the 65th completed season of top division football in Norway. The competition began on 15 March and end on 1 November. Stabæk were the defending champions. Odd Grenland, Sandefjord and Start entered as the three promoted teams from the 2008 1. divisjon. They replaced HamKam who were relegated to the 2009 1. divisjon. Overview League expansion This was the first top division seasons where 16 teams were competing on the highest level of Norwegian football since the 1961–62 Hovedserien season. Mons Ivar Mjelde (born 17 November 1967) is a Norwegian association football, footballer coach and former player who works as head coach for the Norwegian club Øygarden FK, Øygarden. Ivar Morten Normark
Ivar Morten Normark (born 27 May 1963, in Narvik) is a Norwegian football coach and former player. His most recent head coaching job was at FK Mjølner in the 2. divisjon. Normark resigned from this position at the end of the 2013 season. Normark led Aalesund to both promotion to, and relegation from the Norwegian Premier League twice. After the last relegation in 2005, Normark was fired from his job, but was quickly snapped up by Tromsø. His stay in Tromsø was not very successful, and on 26 July 2006, he was sacked after only seven months in the manager's chair. In October 2006 he agreed to take over the Sápmi national football team. As an active player, Normark had his best years at Bodø/Glimt, where he won the Norwegian Cup and silver medals in Tippeligaen in 1993.
