History The name of this law refers to its proponent, Lucio Stanca, Minister of Innovations during the second cabinet of Berlusconi. The law was unanimously approved by Parliament, was published in the Italian Gazzetta Ufficiale of 17 January 2004, and became operational after more than a year. Doamna Stanca (died 1603) was a princess consort of Wallachia, Transylvania and Moldavia as the wife of Michael the Brave.George Marcu (coord.), Dicționarul personalităților feminine din România, Editura Meronia, București, 2009. Tradition says that they were married in the Proieni church, Vâlcea County, in 1584. In 1600, the sometime master of Făgăraș Citadel, Michael the Brave, gave the castle and the Făgăraș domain to Doamna Stanca. He retreated there after the defeat at Mirăslău (18/28 September 1600) and sheltered his family there until 1601. Doamna Stanca settled there with their two children, Nicolae Pătrașcu and Lady Florica. Michael built a church for his family in the southern part of the city. Lucio Stanca (born 20 October 1941, in Lucera) is an Italian politician. He was Minister for Innovation and Technologies in the second and third Berlusconi cabinet, and later CEO of the Expo 2015 SpA. Career Lucio Stanca was Executive Chairman of IBM Europe, Middle East and Africa until his retirement in 2001. In the same year he was elected as Deputy of the Italian Parliament and became Minister of Innovation and Technology for the government of Italy till 2006. Radu Stanca (March 5, 1920 – December 26, 1962) was a Romanian poet, playwright, theatre director, theatre critic and theoretician. He was born in Sebeș and died in Cluj-Napoca. Stanca was member of the Sibiu Literary Circle, a movement of young poets and essayists who tried, between 1946–1948, to rejuvenate the main literary style and aesthetical thinking.
