St. Joseph (Amtrak Station)
St. Joseph station, also known as St. Joseph–Benton Harbor station, is an Amtrak train station in St. Joseph, Michigan, United States, served by Amtrak's ''Pere Marquette Jacques Marquette S.J. (June 1, 1637 – May 18, 1675), sometimes known as Père Marquette or James Marquette, was a French Jesuit missionary who founded Michigan's first European settlement, Sault Sainte Marie, and later founded Saint Igna ...'' line. It is located at 410½ Vine Street in St. Joseph opposite Silver Beach County Park. Since 2005 the station has shared the building with Silver Beach Pizza. In 1986 the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad sold this station to the city of St. Joseph, Mi for $10,000. The station has a small waiting room with a self-service kiosk to purchase tickets. The CSX Grand Rapids Subdivision in a railroad right-of-way in Western Michigan. The line runs from Porter, Indiana to Grand Rapids, Michigan. Twin Cities Area Transportation Authority (TCATA) is an urban/rural transit provider that provides fixed-route and dial-a-ride bus transit service throughout the Benton Harbor, Michigan-Saint Joseph, Michigan area.
