Spain In The Junior Eurovision Song Contest
The participation of Spain in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest first began at the inaugural Junior Eurovision Song Contest in which took place in Copenhagen, Denmark. Televisión Española (TVE), a division of Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE) and member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), were responsible for the selection process of their participation. Spain used a national selection format, broadcasting a show entitled ''Eurojunior'', for their participation at the contests. The first representative to participate for the nation at the 2003 contest was Sergio with the song "Desde el cielo", which finished in second place out of sixteen participating entries, achieving a score of 125 points. Auryn (; stylized as AURYN) was a 5-member Spanish boy band founded in 2009. Signed to Warner Music, they sang in English and Spanish. Los Lunnis
''Los Lunnis'' is a Spanish children's television show produced by TVE and broadcast by La 2 from 15 September 2003 and Clan since 2010 after the change on La 2's programming. It was also broadcast on the weekends in La 1 until 2011. Its characters are puppets moved and interpreted by puppeteer actors. The authors of the original idea are the TVE screenwriters Carmina Roig and Daniel Cerdà. Both conceived it, first under the supervision of the director of TVE Catalonia, Paco Freixinet, and later under the former head of news programmes, Valentín Villagrasa. Fernando Martín de Argenta Pallarés (4 July 1945 – 3 December 2013) was a Spanish writer, journalist, musician and presenter of radio and television. Born in Madrid, the son of conductor and pianist Ataúlfo Argenta, Argenta completed advanced studies in music at the Madrid Royal Conservatory, he combined activity with the Bachelor of Law from the Complutense University of Madrid. In his youth, he was a member of the rock band Micky and The Tonys, which he left in 1965 to fulfill the military service. In 1976, Argenta began working at Radio Nacional de España (RNE), the station that ran the program ''Popular Classics''. In 2003, 2004 and 2006, he was the commentator of RTVE in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest held in Copenhagen (Denmark), Lillehammer (Norway) and Bucharest (Romania), respectively.
