Smasher (Marvel Comics)
Smasher is the name of multiple different fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Publication history Smasher first appeared in ''X-Men'' #107 (October 1977-February 1978), and was created by Chris Claremont and Dave Cockrum. A new Smasher, named Isabel Kane, appears as a member of the Avengers in the Marvel NOW! relaunch. Her name was originally given as "Isabel Dare", but the collected edition of her first appearance said her surname was "Kane". According to editor Tom Brevoort, this change was deliberate; he even stated that "Dare was a mistake in the first place," as the character was intended to be Captain Terror's granddaughter from her first appearance. Yet more Smashers, operating directly under Imperial control, appear in the 'Infinity' crossover. Image Universe
The Image Universe (IU) is a fictional universe in which some stories published by Image Comics take place. It was introduced in the early years of the publisher, shared by the various creators who formed the Image partnership. The independent, creator-owned nature of their work led to limited interaction between their characters, and little coordination of the Image Universe as a shared setting. Instead it has mainly served as the ostensible setting of occasional crossovers between different series, including ''Deathmate'', ''Image United'', and '' The Invincible War''. Ronan The Accuser
Ronan the Accuser is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Ronan was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby and he first appeared in ''Fantastic Four'' #65 (August 1967). "Secret Wars" is a 2015–16 comic book storyline published by Marvel Comics. It recalls the 1984–1985 miniseries of the same name. Cannonball (Samuel Zachary Guthrie) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with the X-Men. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Bob McLeod, Cannonball first appeared in ''The New Mutants'' (Sept. 1982). Cannonball is a mutant who uses the ability to fly at jet speeds while encased in an impenetrable force field.
