Shennan East Road
Shennan Road () is a major east-west thoroughfare of Shenzhen, China. Location Spanning all over Luohu, Futian and Nanshan Districts, the road measures in length. It is divided into three sections, namely Shennan Boulevard (), Shennan Middle Road ()and Shennan East Road (). The sections defined as the portions of Nantou Checkpoint to Huanggang Road, Huanggang Road to Hongling Road and Hongling to Yanhe Road respectively. The two-way road mostly consists of 4 lanes of traffic on each side (around 135m in width, the widest section for up to 350m). In some sections there are side roads and greening present. Huaqiangbei
Huaqiangbei () is a subdistrict of Futian, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, one of Shenzhen's notable retail areas, having one of the largest electronics markets in the world. The area's status as a major electronics manufacturing hub, and sprawling electronics marketplaces have earned it (and Shenzhen) occidental nicknames such as "China's Silicon Valley", and the "Silicon Valley of Hardware". Multiple malls contain various businesses. In 2018, due to slowing demand for smartphones, some shops are now selling cosmetics. In 2020 the area had about 38,000 businesses. Its known in China for selling cheap electronics. Most of the smartphones in China are from here. Binhai Boulevard (Chinese:滨海大道) is a major expressway in Shenzhen, China. It runs from Nanshan Boulevard in Nanshan and runs along much of the length of Shenzhen Bay Park and eventually joins Binhe Road when it ends at Futian. Over of the road was built on land reclaimed from Shenzhen Bay. It is the southernmost major road in Shenzhen. Futian
Futian District () is one of the nine districts comprising the city of Shenzhen, China. The district is home to the government and Municipal Committee of Shenzhen, as well as the city's central business district (CBD). Name There are two theories concerning the origin of the district's name: * From an inscription dating to the Song Dynasty (960–1297) which reads: "Lakes and mountains are blessed with fertile farmlands" (). * Written records showing that people from Shangsha Village built houses in Songziling in 1192; their farmlands were cultivated in lattice shapes, which in Chinese is a homophone for "Futian" meaning "blessed fields". G4 Beijing–Hong Kong And Macau Expressway
The Beijing–Hong Kong and Macau Expressway (), designated as G4 and commonly referred to as the Jinggang'ao Expressway () is a -long expressway that connects the Chinese cities of Beijing and Shenzhen, in Guangdong province, at the border with Hong Kong. The expressway terminates at the Huanggang Port Control Point in Shenzhen, opposite the Lok Ma Chau border control point in Hong Kong. Shun Hing Square (), also known as "Di Wang Tower" () is a -tall skyscraper in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, China. Upon its completion in 1996, it became the tallest building in China, until being surpassed by CITIC Plaza next year. Background The building was built at a pace of four floors in nine days. The main tower contains office space, a car park and a 5-story shopping arcade complex with four sets of escalators, five passenger lifts and two service lifts, and a floor area ranging from 3450 m2 to 4900 m2. Dongmen (; lit. "East Gate") is a subdistrict within Luohu District of Shenzhen, in China. It is a shopping district located on Dongmen Pedestrian Street (). Name As one of the older parts of Shenzhen, the Dongmen area was established about 300 years ago as the centre of the Shenzhen Market (深圳墟), the town which would later lend its name to the city. Happy Valley Shenzhen () is a theme park in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. Opened in 1998, it is the first of the Happy Valley theme park chain. Covering an area of , the park is composed of nine themed areas including Spanish Square, Cartoon City, Mt. Adventure, Gold Mine Town, Shangri-la Woods, Sunshine Beach, Typhoon Bay, Playa Maya Water Park and Happy Times. The Playa Maya Water Park is open for five months (May to October) each year, and is themed after the Mayan civilization with buildings and statues in Mayan architectural styles. Window Of The World
Window of the World () is a theme park located in the western part of the city of Shenzhen in the People's Republic of China. It has about 130 reproductions of some of the most famous tourist attractions in the world squeezed into 48 hectares (118 acres). The 108 metre (354 ft) tall Eiffel Tower dominates the skyline and the sight of the Pyramids and the Taj Mahal all in proximity to each other are all part of the appeal of this theme park.
