Sergio Mantecón
Sergio Martínez Mantecón (born 8 June 1980) is a Spanish former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Midfielder#Defensive midfielder, defensive midfielder. He is the current technical secretary of Elche CF. He appeared in 270 Segunda División games over ten seasons, scoring a total of nine goals for CD Badajoz, Badajoz, Hércules CF, Hércules, CD Castellón, Castellón, Elche CF, Elche and Cádiz CF, Cádiz. In La Liga, he appeared with Elche (12 matches). The 2012–13 Segunda División season (known as the Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 82nd since its establishment. The season started on 17 August 2012 and the league phase of 42 rounds ended on 9 June 2013. The entire season ended on 22 June 2013 with the promotion play-off finals. Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
