2006–07 Segunda División
The 2006–07 Segunda División season (known this season as the Liga BBVA for sponsorship reasons) was the 76th since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 27 August 2006, and the season ended on 17 June 2007. Alavés, Cádiz and Málaga were the teams which were relegated from La Liga the previous season. Las Palmas, Salamanca, Ponferradina, and Vecindario were the teams which were promoted from Segunda División B the previous season. Real Valladolid
Real Valladolid Club de Fútbol, S.A.D., or simply Real Valladolid () or Valladolid, is a professional football club based in Valladolid, Castile and León, Spain that competes in La Liga, the top tier of the Spanish league system. Club de Fútbol Ciudad de Murcia, usually abbreviated to Ciudad de Murcia, was a Spanish football club based in Murcia, in the namesake autonomous community. Mendizorrotza Stadium
Mendizorrotza or Mendizorroza is a football stadium in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. The stadium is the home ground of Deportivo Alavés. History Opened on 27 April 1924, it is currently the third oldest football stadium in the Spanish Professional Football, behind El Molinón and Mestalla. During its history, the stadium had several renovations. The most important one was the expansion made in 1999, making new stands in the corners for increasing the capacity of the stadium to the current 19,840 seats. Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and the ''Segunda División'', and above the ''Tercera División''. The Segunda División B included the reserve teams of a number of La Liga and Segunda División teams. Real Sporting de Gijón, S.A.D.
