Serginho Catarinense
Sérgio Roberto de Braga Filho known as Serginho (little Sérgio) (born 16 September 1984) is a Brazilian footballer. He sometimes known as Serginho Catarinense (Serginho of Santa Catarina state). Biography Santa Catarina clubs Sérgio Filho (Filho means son, equivalent to Jr.) or Serginho started his career at Joinville Esporte Clube, which he signed a 4-year contract in January 2004. He appeared in 2004 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B as unused sub, and played twice at 2005 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C. In the next season, he played all 12 Série C matches for the club, which he also played the same number of games in 2007 season. He extended his contract for one more year in November 2007. In June 2008 he left for Grêmio Esportivo Juventus until end of year, along with Joinville team-mate Tácio. History The Campeonato Catarinense top level has had several different names since it started. From its first edition, in 1924, to 1985, it was called just Campeonato Catarinense (Santa Catarina Championship). The Copa Santa Catarina ( en, Santa Catarina Cup) is a tournament organized by the Federação Catarinense de Futebol, Santa Catarina State Football Federation every second half of the season. It is played by Santa Catarina (state), Santa Catarina state teams. The competition's winner gains the right to compete in the same year's Recopa Sul-Brasileira and in the following year's Campeonato Brasileiro Série D. The competition was formed in 1990. 2011 Copa FGF also known as Copa Dra Laci Ughini 2011, was the 8th edition of Copa FGF. 22 teams participated in the tournament. The winner qualified for 2011 Recopa Sul-Brasileira and 2012 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D. Moreover, if the 2012 Campeonato Gaúcho winner and runner-up were Grêmio and Internacional (GRE–NAL), the runner-up of the cup would have been allocated one of the three spots of the state to 2013 Copa do Brasil, otherwise the champion, runner-up and the third place of the league would have been qualified for the cup. In 2010, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, the second level of the Brazilian League, was contested by 20 clubs from May 7 to November 27, 2010.
