Sean McMorrow
Sean McMorrow (born January 19, 1982) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey winger. He last played semi-professionally for the Jonquière Marquis of the LNAH. Originally selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, McMorrow played in 1 NHL game with the Sabres in the 2002–03 season. He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, but grew up in Scarborough, Ontario. Playing career As a youth, McMorrow played in the 1996 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Wexford, Toronto. McMorrow was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 8th round, 258th overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft from the Ontario Hockey League. He made his NHL debut for the Sabres in the 2002–03 NHL season on March 22, 2003 against the Toronto Maple Leafs, McMorrow spent the rest of his time with the Sabres' affiliate, the Rochester Americans. Rochester Americans
The Rochester Americans (colloquially known as the Amerks) are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League; the team is an owned and operated affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres. The team plays its home games in Rochester, New York, at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial. The Americans are the fourth oldest franchise in the AHL, and have the second longest continuous tenure among AHL teams in their current locations after the Hershey Bears. Rochester was awarded a new franchise in June 1956, when the Pittsburgh Hornets were forced to suspend operations after their arena, the Duquesne Gardens was razed in an urban renewal project. Ontario Hockey League
The Ontario Hockey League (OHL; french: Ligue de hockey de l'Ontario (LHO)) is one of the three major junior ice hockey leagues which constitute the Canadian Hockey League. Belfast Odyssey
The Odyssey Complex, formerly Odyssey Centre, is a sports and entertainment complex located within the Titanic Quarter in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The complex originated in 1992 and came into fruition in June 1998. It opened in December 2000, with expansions opening in March and May 2001.
