Saša Petricic
Saša Petricic is a Canadian journalist. He is currently the Asia Correspondent and videojournalist for CBC Television's '' The National'' and other CBC News programs, based in Beijing, China. He previously spent four years covering the Middle East. Education Petricic attended high school in Toronto, at the North Toronto Collegiate Institute. He went on to earn a journalism degree with combined honours in Soviet and East European Studies from Carleton University. He also studied at Hope College in Michigan and at the University of Quebec. Career From 1993 to 2001, Petricic covered federal politics, elections and political issues from the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa. During that time, he contributed various stories and features to BBC News and CNN. He subsequently covered major events and issues from every continent as a CBC correspondent and videojournalist. National University Of Rwanda
The National University of Rwanda (NUR; rw, Kaminuza nkuru y’u Rwanda, french: Université nationale du Rwanda, UNR) was the largest university in Rwanda. It was located at in the city of Butare and was established in 1963 by the government in cooperation with the Congregation of the Dominicans from the Province of Quebec, Canada. Its founder and first rector was Father Georges-Henri Lévesque. When it was established, the NUR had three divisions (Faculties of Medicine and Social Sciences, and a Teacher Training College), 51 students and 16 lecturers. Michael Peter Todd Spavor (born 1976) is a Canadian consultant who has worked extensively in North Korea. He is the director and founding member of Paektu Cultural Exchange, a NGO that facilitates sports, cultural, Tourism in North Korea, tourism and business exchanges involving North Korea. In December 2018, while he was living and working in Dandong on the Chinese side of the China–North Korea border, Spavor Detention of Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig, was taken into custody, along with Michael Kovrig, by Chinese officials.
