It was created in 1875 from the western portion of Lambton (provincial electoral district), Lambton, and was centred on Sarnia. It was abolished in 1966 before the 1967 election. Most of the urban portion became Sarnia (provincial electoral district), Sarnia, while the more rural portion was merged with Lambton East (provincial electoral district), Lambton East to form a recreated Lambton. Sarnia—Lambton (provincial Electoral District)
Sarnia—Lambton is a provincial electoral district in southwestern Ontario, Canada. It elects one member to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. The riding was created in 1999 from Sarnia and from part of Lambton when ridings in Ontario were redrawn to match federal ridings. From 1999 to 2007, the riding consisted of the municipalities of Sarnia, Point Edward, St. Clair and Sarnia 45.
