Salpausselän Reipas
Salpausselän Reipas (abbreviated SalReipas) is a football club from Lahti in Finland. The club was formed in 2004 and their home ground is at the Mukkulan kenttä. The first team currently plays in the Kolmonen (Third Division), the fourth tier of Finnish football. The Chairman of SalReipas is Tero Rantala. History The club was founded in 2004 and has made rapid progress since they began competitive football with the SPL Uusimaa in 2005 in Section 7 of the Kutonen (Sixth Division) which they won at the first attempt. Further promotions followed in the next two seasons in 2006 and 2007 when the club won Section 3 of the Vitonen (Fifth Division) and Section 2 of the Nelonen (Fourth Division) respectively. In their first three seasons the club only lost 1 league match and won the other 55 matches, scoring 322 goals in the process. Kolmonen
Kolmonen or III divisioona is the fourth level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 104 Finnish football teams. The III divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kolmonen (''Number Three'' in English and ''Trean'' in Swedish). The competition There are 104 clubs in the Kolmonen, divided in 9 groups of 10 to 12 teams each representing a geographical area. During the course of a season (starting in April and ending in October) each club plays the others twice, once at their home ground and once at that of their opponents. FC City Stars
City Stars was a football club from Lahti in Finland. The club was formed in 1982 and their home ground is at the Kisapuiston kenttä. The team last plays in the Kakkonen (Second Division). The Head coach was to this time Petri Järvinen. History City Stars spent many seasons in the lower divisions of the Finnish football league following their formation in 1982. The year 2006 saw a huge change in fortunes when they won Section 2 of the Kolmonen (Helsinki and Uusimaa). The team then won the promotion play-off group to seal promotion. In early 2007 City Stars became part of the Lahti club, FC Kuusysi, and established their own business unit within the organisation. At the same time City Stars received support from Petri Pasanen, the Finnish international, and Kari Kangasaho, the Kuusysi coach. 2010 Finnish Cup
2010 Finnish Cup ( fi, Suomen Cup) was the 56th season of the main annual football (soccer) cup competition in Finland. It was organized as a single-elimination knock–out tournament. Participation in the competition was voluntary. The winners of the competition entered the 2011–12 UEFA Europa League#Second qualifying round, second qualifying round of UEFA Europa League. A total of 271 teams registered for the competition. They entered in different rounds, depending on their position within the league system. Clubs with teams in Kolmonen (level IV) or an inferior league, as well as Veterans and Junior teams, started the competition in Round 1. Kakkonen or II divisioona is the third level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 36 Finnish football teams. The II divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kakkonen (Finnish for 'Number Two'; sv, Tvåan). Sakari Tukiainen finished the season 2014 as the top goal scorer and setting a new league record with 40 goals for the Kakkonen. Petter Meyer finished the 2015 as the top goal scorer for GrIFK with 23 goals. Lohjan Pallo (abbreviated LoPa) is a football club from Lohja, Finland. The club was formed in 1966 and their home ground is at the Harjun urheilukenttä. The men's first team currently plays in the Kakkonen (Second Division). The chairman is Risto Tuomanen. History LoPa were promoted to the Kolmonen in 1976 and the club remained at this level until 1991 when they progressed to the Kakkonen (Second Division), the third tier of the Finnish football system. To date they have played 7 seasons in the Kakkonen over three periods from 1992 to 1994, 2000 and 2007 to the present.
