''Sakthivel '' is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by K. S. Ravikumar. The film stars Selva, Kanaka and Vijayakumar. The film, produced by M. Saravanan and M. Balasubramanian, had musical score by Ilaiyaraaja and was released on 14 April 1994 coinciding with Tamil New Year. Plot Sakthivel is an honest head constable and has a daughter, Lalli. One day, he beats a politician's son. He is subsequently promoted as a Sub-inspector but he is transferred to a ruthless village. A feud between Pannaiyar and Chairman divides the village in half and every day many villagers die. Selva (actor)
Selva is an Indian actor who has worked on Tamil-language films in leading and supporting roles. After appearing in several films as a lead actor in the 1990s, he made a comeback in two films directed by Mysskin in the 2010s. Family and early life Selva was born in Lakshmipuram, Theni district of Tamil Nadu in a Tamil family to D. C Varadharajan, a retired police officer and Andal. His brother Rajasekhar, is also an actor who has appeared in Telugu language films. Selva grew up in Annanagar and attended Madras Christian College in Chetput. Manjula Vijayakumar
Manjula Vijayakumar (4 July 195423 July 2013) was an Indian actress. She acted in more than 100 films in South Indian languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Personal life She and actor Vijayakumar got married in 1976. The couple have three daughters, Vanitha, Preetha and Sridevi. Arunmozhi ( ta, அருண்மொழி) (also called Napoleon Selvaraj) (born 1951) is an Indian playback singer and well-known flutist. He has sung songs composed by leading Indian film industry music directors, including Ilaiyaraaja, Shankar Ganesh, Deva, S. A. Rajkumar, Viji Manuel, Swararaj, Harris Jayaraj, Sirpy, Vidyasagar, Soundaryan, Karthik Raja, Siva, Masa, Dhina and Yuvan Shankar Raja. He has also performed in live concerts across the world. He is a part of Ilaiyaraaja's musical troupe, playing flute. Kanaka is a former Indian actress. Personal life Kanaka is the daughter of Tamil actress Devika. She is also the great-granddaughter of Telugu cinema's first sound film's producer Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu.
