Søren Friis
Søren Engell Friis (born 13 December 1976) is a former Danish professional football midfielder. Friis played a big part in AC Horsens' promotion to the Superliga in 2004/05, when he was a regular starter at the left wing scored the cruisial deciding goal in the second-last match of the season against BK Skjold in Copenhagen. It was in that game the promotion was secured. During the club's time in the Superliga Friis has been on and off the team, but has, however, participated in many important matches and scored 3 league goals. DR (), officially the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in English, is a Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company. Founded in 1925 as a public-service organization, it is Denmark's oldest and largest electronic media enterprise. DR is a founding member of the European Broadcasting Union. DR was originally funded by a media licence, however since 2022, the media license has been replaced by an addition to the Danish income tax. Boldklubben Skjold af 1915 is a Danish football club based in Østerbro, Copenhagen- Founded in 1915, the club has over 1,400 members making it one of Denmark's biggest football clubs in terms of membership. BK Skjold's teams use either Fælledparken or Ryparken for their training sessions. In the 2011–2012 season Skjold played in the Danish 2nd Division West, the third-tier, due to a random draw after the promotions from the 4th tier league Danmarksserien resulted in an unbalance in teams playing in the East and West 2nd divisions. 18 teams were to play in the Danish 2nd Division East while only 14 teams were to play in the Danish 2nd Division West. FC Horsens, founded 31 October 1987 as a merger between Dagnæs IF and B 1940, is a Danish football club, based in southern Horsens. They are currently playing in the Series 2 of the DBU Jutland, the seventh tier of Danish football but have also played in the Denmark Series (fourth tier) as well as the Qualification Series. The Danish Superliga ( da, Superligaen, ) is the current Danish football championship tournament, and administered by the Danish Football Association. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated. History Founded in 1991, the Danish Superliga replaced the Danish 1st Division as the highest league of football in Denmark. From the start in 1991, 10 teams were participating. The opening Superliga season was played during the spring of 1991, with the ten teams playing each other twice for the championship title.
