''Sökarna'' (literally "The Searchers") is a 1993 Swedish crime film directed by Daniel Fridell and Peter Cartriers. Liam Norberg stars as Jocke, a young criminal who after serving jail time becomes a successful bank robber and drug dealer. The story is set in an alternative, visually stylized Stockholm in the early 1990s. A sequel, Sökarna: Återkomsten was produced in 2006. A month before the premiere, Norberg was arrested for a robbery he had committed in 1990, and sentenced to five years in jail. Liam Norberg
Magnus Liam Norberg né ''Lars Magnus Norberg'' (born 30 December 1969) is a Swedish actor, author, artist, and former criminal. He has acted in several films before and after his imprisonment, such as ''Sökarna'' and ''Blodsbröder''. He was involved in two major robberies in the 1990s and served time in prison for both. Since his release, he has lectured about his Christian faith and continued his acting career, as well as writing and publishing several books about his life experiences. Career Norberg grew up in Hagsätra, to the south of Stockholm. In 1987 he acted in the film ''Stockholmsnatt''. Thorsten Flinck (born 17 April 1961 in Solna, Sweden), is a Swedish actor, director, and musician. He is known best for playing psychopaths and villains, and also for his outrageous personality both on stage and in real life. Daniel Fridell (born 31 March 1967) is a Swedish film director and producer. Early life Daniel Fridell grew up in Stockholm, Sweden. According to an interview in ''Aftonbladet'', Daniels grandmother, Saga Sjöberg, introduced him to filmmaking when at the age of six she gave him a Super 8 camera for Christmas. His first film "Squirrel Fight" featuring two ''Star Wars'' dolls and a squirrel premiered at the local daycare. Infinite Mass is a Swedish hip hop group formed in 1991. In 1992 the group won the talent show Swedish Championship of Rap. The same year, they achieved fame by participating in the movie '' Sökarna,'' and released the single "Shoot the Racist", which was later renamed "Area Turns Red". There was some controversy in the Swedish mass media at the time regarding the song's lyrics. They ended up on the top charts for the first time in 1995 with the songs "Mah boys", "Area Turns Red" and "Ride". They won a Grammis Award for best club/dance song in 1995. In 1997 they released the album ''Alwayz Somethang'' and the single "Caught up in da Game". Bo Martin Erik Erikson (born 27 August 1965), better known by his stage name E-Type, is a Swedish eurodance musician, songwriter and record producer.
