Swoop were an Australian seven-piece rock, funk and disco band established in 1991. Swoop released three studio albums, ''Thriller (Swoop album), Thriller'' (October 1993), ''The Woxo Principle'' (November 1995), and ''Be What You Is'' (January 1999). Their most popular single, 1995's "Apple Eyes", reached No. 9 in Australia on the ARIA Charts, ARIA Singles Chart, and was certified gold by Australian Recording Industry Association, ARIA. South Bend Cubs
The South Bend Cubs are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. They are located in South Bend, Indiana, and play their home games at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium. The team was originally known as the South Bend White Sox from 1988 to 1993 during their affiliation with the Chicago White Sox, a partnership that lasted until 1997. They were called the South Bend Silver Hawks from 1994 to 2014. From 1998 to 2014, they were affiliates of the Arizona Diamondbacks. They then became an affiliate of the Chicago Cubs and became the South Bend Cubs in 2015. History South Bend, Indiana, was awarded a Midwest League franchise in 1988. ''Ulysses'' ( , ) was a robotic space probe whose primary mission was to orbit the Sun and study it at all latitudes. It was launched in 1990 and made three "fast latitude scans" of the Sun in 1994/1995, 2000/2001, and 2007/2008. In addition, the probe studied several comets. Swoop is a Canadian ultra low-cost carrier (ULCC) owned by WestJet. The airline is headquartered in Calgary and was named after WestJet's desire to "swoop" (or jump) into the Canadian market with a new business model. It was officially announced on September 27, 2017, and began flights on June 20, 2018. History In April 2017, WestJet announced that it was planning to launch a new airline to enter the growing ultra low-cost carrier (ULCC) market and compete against NewLeaf (now Flair Airlines). The airline was planned to launch in late 2017, but in August 2017 it was delayed to June 2018 after switching to a lower-cost booking system. Swoop is a Belgian party band, with Filip D'haeze as lead singer. It was formed in 2001 and continued until 2006. Additional members included Iris Maschelein, Kim Gyselinck, Nathalie Taling.
