Swiss Challenge
The Swiss Challenge is a golf tournament on the Challenge Tour, held in Switzerland, except in 2021, when it was held in France. History It was first played as the Credit Suisse Private Banking Open in 2000 and 2001 at the Golf Club Patriziale Ascona in Ascona. It replaced the Interlaken Open which ended after financial issues. During the course of the 2002 edition, the heavy rain led to the overflow of the Lake Maggiore and to the cancellation of the event. Following a four-year hiatus, the tournament returned in 2006 and was held at the Wylihof Golf Club in Luterbach through 2009. Since 2010 the event has been played at Golf Sempachersee in Hildisrieden. In 2021, the event was uniquely held in France. This article lists the lowest rounds of golf. In professional competition a round of 59 or less is regarded as a significant achievement. In men's major championships the lowest round is 62 by Branden Grace at the 2017 Open Championship. The lowest officially recorded round is 55 by Rhein Gibson in 2012. In women's major championships the lowest round is 61, held jointly by Leona Maguire, Lee Jeong-eun and Kim Hyo-joo, all at the Evian Championship. Kristian Krogh Johannessen
Kristian Krogh Johannessen (born 3 March 1995) is a Norwegian professional golfer who has played on the European Tour and the Challenge Tour. He played in the 2020 Summer Olympics and won the 2022 Italian Challenge Open. Amateur career Johannessen played for the national team and represented Norway at the 2012 Eisenhower Trophy with Anders Engell and Kristoffer Ventura, where they finished sixth. He also played on the winning side in the 2010 Jacques Léglise Trophy, where Continental Europe won. He played in the European Boys' Team Championship three times and won silver in 2010, after he was beaten by Thomas Pieters of Belgium by 3 to 2 in the final. Moritz Lampert
Moritz Horst Lampert (born 14 May 1992) is a German professional golfer who currently plays on the Challenge Tour. He played on the European Tour in 2013 and 2015 but failed to regain his card on both occasions. He won three events on the 2014 Challenge Tour, reaching a career-high of 146 in the world rankings during that year. Amateur career Lampert had an accomplished junior career winning national boys titles in France and Germany in 2010. Richard Bland (golfer)
Richard Bland (born 3 February 1973) is an English professional golfer. Career Bland was born in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire. He turned professional in 1996 and reached the final stage of the European Tour's qualifying school in 1997 to gain his card on Europe's second tier Challenge Tour for 1998. In 2001 he won for the first time, at the season ending Challenge Tour Grand Final. The win elevated him in the rankings sufficiently to gain a place on the European Tour for 2002. During his first season on the European Tour, Bland’s best tournament finish was a tie for 2nd place at the Murphy's Irish Open, losing in a playoff, and ended the year in 73rd place on the Order of Merit. Ricardo Santos (born 7 September 1982) is a Portuguese professional golfer who plays on the Challenge Tour. He won the 2012 Madeira Islands Open. Professional career Santos turned professional in 2006. From 2007 to 2011 he played regularly on the Challenge Tour. In 2007, he was given an invite to the Madeira Islands Open on the European Tour, and led after the first round. He began the 2011 season well, making nine of his first ten cuts, including seven top-15 finishes.
