Swedish Sports Confederation
The Swedish Sports Confederation ( sv, Riksidrottsförbundet, RF) is the umbrella organisation of the Swedish sports movement. Through its member organisations, it has three million members in 22,000 clubs. The Confederation was formed on 31 May 1903. Its present chairman, since 2015, is Björn Eriksson. Swedish Swimming Federation
The Swedish Swimming Federation ( sv, Svenska Simförbundet, SSF) is the national federation for Aquatics in body of Swimming in Sweden, as well as the other Aquatics sports: diving, synchronized swimming, water polo and open water swimming. It was founded on 23 March 1904 and is a member of LEN and FINA. Competitions The Swedish Swimming Federation organizes the Swedish Swimming Championships, the Elitserien, the Women's Elitserien, the Swedish Synchronized Swimming Championships, the Swedish Diving Championships, the Swedish Swimming Grand Prix series and the Swedish Open Water Swimming Championships, national junior and youth championships and the national teams in the swimming disciplines. Fancy Bear (also known as APT28 (by Mandiant), Pawn Storm, Sofacy Group (by Kaspersky), Sednit, Tsar Team (by FireEye) and STRONTIUM (by Microsoft)) is a Russian cyber espionage group. Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike has said with a medium level of confidence that it is associated with the Russian military intelligence agency GRU. The UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office as well as security firms SecureWorks, ThreatConnect, and Mandiant, have also said the group is sponsored by the Russian government. In 2018, an indictment by the United States Special Counsel identified Fancy Bear as GRU Unit 26165. Gunnar Larsson (sports Administrator)
Gunnar Larsson (29 March 1940 – 4 May 2020) was a Swedish football and sports administrator, and politician. He was chairman of the Swedish football club IFK Göteborg from 1982 to 2000, during which the club won the Swedish championships ten times, Svenska Cupen three times, the UEFA Cup twice, first in 1981–82 and again in 1986–87, reached the semi-finals in the 1985–86 European Cup, and participated in four UEFA Champions League group stages. Arne Ljungqvist (born 23 April 1931) is a Swedish medical researcher, sports personality and retired high jumper. Ljungqvist is an honorary member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), chairman of IOC's Medical Commission, and vice chairman of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). Biography Ljungqvist grew up in Ålsten, outside Stockholm, as the son of Gunnar Ljungqvist (1898-1968), a CEO in the insurance industry and right-wing politician, and his wife Solveig. In his youth, Arne Ljungqvist competed in the high jump, javelin throw and decathlon. In 1952 he won the national high jump title and finished 15th at the 1952 Summer Olympics.
