Svein Knutsson
Svein Knutsson (Old Norse: ''Sveinn Knútsson''; c. 1016–1035) was the son of Cnut the Great, king of Denmark, Norway, and England, and his first wife Ælfgifu of Northampton, a Mercian noblewoman. In 1017 Cnut married Emma of Normandy, but there is no evidence that Ælfgifu was repudiated, and in 1030 Cnut sent her and Svein as regents to rule Norway. Sweyn Haakonsson
Sweyn Haakonsson (Old Norse: ''Sveinn Hákonarson'', no, Svein Håkonsson) (died c. 1016) was an earl of the house of Hlaðir and co-ruler of Norway from 1000 to c. 1015. He was the son of earl Hákon Sigurðarson. He is first mentioned in connection with the battle of Hjörungavágr, where the ''Heimskringla'' says he commanded 60 ships. After the battle of Svolder in the year 1000, Sveinn became co-ruler of Norway with his half-brother, Eiríkr Hákonarson. After Eiríkr went to England in 1014, Sveinn was co-ruler with Hákon Eiríksson. In 1015, Óláfr Haraldsson arrived in Norway and claimed the throne. He defeated Sveinn and his allies in the battle of Nesjar. Sveinn retreated to Sweden, intending to muster a force to retake Norway but he died of an illness before he could return. Svein Harald Ludvigsen (born 18 July 1946) is a Norwegian former politician for the Conservative Party and a convicted sex offender. He served as a member of parliament (1989–2001), deputy leader of the Conservative Party (1990–1991), minister of fisheries (2001–2005), and county governor of Troms (2006–2014). In 2019 he was convicted of sexually abusing three young men, and sentenced to five years imprisonment; his conviction and sentence became final in January 2020. Svein Grøndalen (born 8 February 1955) is a Norwegian former footballer. He was born in Halden, and as a youngster he lived in Halden, Drammen, Halden again, and Hunndalen. He played youth football for Kvik Halden and Raufoss, and senior football for Raufoss, Rosenborg, Moss and Ås. In total he got 77 caps for Norway, between 1973 and 1984. Grøndalen played left back or central defender, and was noted for his "physical" style of play. Many people remember him best for a brutal tackle which injured Swede Ralf Edström during a 1977 international match. He is also remembered for missing a World Cup qualification match due to a bizarre injury, while running in the forest before the game Grøndalen ran into a moose and injured himself so badly he couldn't play the next game. Svein Fjælberg (born 12 January 1959) is a Norwegian former football defender. He played 11 seasons for the Norwegian club Viking, where he won the league twice as well as two cup titles. Fjælberg was capped 33 times for Norway. After his retirement he served as the assistant coach of Viking on three occasions. Player career Club career Fjælberg was born in Sola, and started playing football for Sola FK. As a 17-year-old, Anbjørn Ekeland and Viking wanted his services, but he stayed at Sola a couple more years until he moved to Viking in 1979. Viking paid Sola 45,000 for the transfer, which was Viking's most expensive transfer at the time.
