Svein Fjælberg
Svein Fjælberg (born 12 January 1959) is a Norwegian former football defender. He played 11 seasons for the Norwegian club Viking, where he won the league twice as well as two cup titles. Fjælberg was capped 33 times for Norway. After his retirement he served as the assistant coach of Viking on three occasions. Player career Club career Fjælberg was born in Sola, and started playing football for Sola FK. As a 17-year-old, Anbjørn Ekeland and Viking wanted his services, but he stayed at Sola a couple more years until he moved to Viking in 1979. Viking paid Sola 45,000 for the transfer, which was Viking's most expensive transfer at the time. Fjælberg played in every match during his first season at Viking when they won the double, and his good performances at the club made him a candidate for the national team. Sola FK
Sola Fotballklubb is a Norwegian association football club from Sola, Rogaland. The women's football team played in the 1. divisjon, the second tier of Norwegian football, up to and including the 2012 season, after which it resigned its place in the 1. divisjon. The men's football team currently plays in the 3. divisjon, the fourth tier of the Norwegian football league system, after being relegated from the 2019 2. divisjon. The club played in 3. divisjon for many years, except for the years 2006, 2009 and 2013 when it had visits in the 4. divisjon. Viking Fotballklubb, commonly known as Viking or Viking Stavanger internationally, is a Norwegian football club from the city of Stavanger. The club was founded in 1899. The 1986 1. divisjon was the 42nd completed season of top division football in Norway. The season began on 27 April 1986 and ended on 19 October 1986. 22 games were played with 2 points given for wins and 1 for draws. Number eleven and twelve were relegated. Benny Lennartsson
Benny Lennartsson is a Sweden, Swedish football (soccer), football coach, former football and bandy player. He has managed Örebro SK, Lyngby FC and Bristol City among others. Managerial career Viking In 1988, Lennartsson signed for Norway, Norwegian club Viking FK. He won promotion from the OBOS-ligaen, second tier in his first season at the club. The next season, Viking were the winners of the Norwegian Football Cup, Norwegian Cup by beating Molde FK, Molde in the final. In 1991, he won the Eliteserien (football), first tier of Norwegian football, before leaving the club the same season. In 2000, Lennartsson joined Viking for a second spell. It would prove to be a successful one, as the club finished in third place in his first two seasons in charge. The association football (soccer) tournament at the 1984 Summer Olympics started on July 29 and ended on August 11, taking place throughout the United States. It was the first Olympic soccer competition in which officially professional players were allowed.
