Suzhou Center Mall
Suzhou Center Mall is a large shopping mall located in Suzhou, China. The mall opened in November 2017 and was developed by the Singaporean Management company CapitaLand. The mall spans over 300,000 square meters and houses over 600 different branded stores. It includes famous brands such as Apple and Microsoft. The Suzhou Center mall is currently the largest mall in Suzhou. It is 7 stories tall and features attractions such as an area for horse riding lessons, an Olympic sized ice rink, a gourmet grocery store, arcade, bubble tea stores such as 一点点 (Yi Dian Dian) In 2018 the mall won the MAPIC Award for "Best New Shopping Center" which recognizes innovation and quality in the global retail real estate industry. Suzhou (; ; Suzhounese: Romanization of Wu Chinese, ''sou¹ tseu¹'' , Standard Mandarin, Mandarin: ), postal romanization, alternately romanized as Soochow, is a major city in southern Jiangsu province, East China. Suzhou is the largest city in Jiangsu, and a major economic center and focal point of trade and commerce. Administratively, Suzhou is a prefecture-level city with a population of 6,715,559 in the city proper, and a total resident population of 12,748,262 as of the 2020 census in its administrative area. The city jurisdiction area's north waterfront is on a lower reach of the Yangtze River, Yangtze whereas it has its more focal south-western waterfront on Lake Tai – crossed by several waterways, its district belongs to the Yangtze River Delta region.
