''Suyetchai MLA'' is a 2006 Tamil-language political satire film directed by Guru Dhanapal. The film stars Sathyaraj and Goundamani. The film had musical score by Sabesh–Murali and was released on 5 May 2006 after many delays. Plot Nambirajan (Sathyaraj) and Visky (Goundamani) are lorry drivers and best friends. Both of them are very helpful to MLA Arivudaiyan (Nassar) with all his work. Nambirajan's sister Priya (Ammu) loves a rich boy Rakesh (Rakesh). Nambirajan and Rakesh's father Muthiah Pillai (Rajan P. Dev) then prepare their engagement. In the function, Muthiah talks ill about Nambirajan's poverty and insults him. Guru Dhanapal
Guru Dhanapal (2 March 1959 – 18 April 2014) was an Indian film director, who worked in Tamil cinema, mostly with actor Sathyaraj. Career Guru Dhanapal made his directorial debut with '' Unna Nenachen Pattu Padichen'' (1992) starring Karthik, Sasikala, and Monisha in leading roles. In the 1990s, the director made a series of film starring Sathyaraj in the lead role, achieving box office success with ''Thai Maaman'' (1994) after which he made '' Maaman Magal'' (1995) and ''Periya Manushan'' (1997). The three films were described as "routine comedy masala ventures" and were filmed in very quick schedules. In between he collaborated with Jayaram twice in ''Periya Idathu Mappillai'' (1997) and ''Raja Magal'', which did not release, as well as directing a portion of ''Suyamvaram'' (1999), which featured an ensemble cast of actors from the Tamil film industry. Ponnambalam (actor)
Ponnambalam (born 11 November 1963) is an Indian actor and stuntman who has predominantly appeared in Tamil language films. He is best known for playing antagonistic roles in Indian films during the 1990s, notably appearing in films such as ''Nattamai'' (1994), '' Muthu'' (1995) and ''Amarkalam'' (1999). Later in his career, Ponnambalam also appeared in a few leading roles, while also taking up the mantle of director and producer. Paravai Muniyamma (25 June 1937 – 29 March 2020) was an Indian folk singer and actress. She got the adjective Paravai as she was born in a village called Paravai in Madurai.
