Guillermo Scott Herren is an American producer who has been based in Atlanta, Barcelona and New York City. Herren releases music under the aliases Prefuse 73, Delarosa & Asora, Ahmad Szabo, and Piano Overlord, and is also part of the groups Savath y Savalas, Sons of the Morning, Fudge, Risil, and Diamond Watch Wrists. Biography Guillermo Scott Herren was born in Miami, Florida, and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. His father is Catalan and his mother is Irish and Cuban. At an early age his parents encouraged him to play piano and other instruments; his mother "forced" Herren to play a wide variety of instruments, even going so far as to teach him the Suzuki Method in order to "keep him out of trouble". Café Tacvba (Pronounced ''kaˈfe taˈkuβa'') is a band from Ciudad Satélite, Mexico. The group gained popularity in the early 1990s. Broadcast (band)
Broadcast were an English indietronica band formed in Birmingham in 1995 by Trish Keenan (vocals, keyboards, guitar) and James Cargill (bass). Their musical style blended elements of 1960s psychedelia with early electronic music and samples from esoteric sources; it earned the band a cult following. Broadcast released three studio albums—''The Noise Made by People'' (2000), '' Haha Sound'' (2003), and '' Tender Buttons'' (2005)—on Warp Records, as well as several EPs and a collaborative album with the Focus Group titled ''Broadcast and The Focus Group Investigate Witch Cults of the Radio Age'' (2009). Jamel Irief (born Elgin Turner; August 18, 1969), better known by his stage name Masta Killa, is an American rapper and member of the Wu-Tang Clan. James Rutledge is an English, London-based musician, record producer and remixer. He is from Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England. Life James Rutledge studied at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Ashbourne alongside fellow musician Dave Tyack, before reading English Literature at St Anne's College, Oxford between 1996 and 1999. Tero Smith (June 26, 1977 – May 25, 2008), better known by his stage name Camu Tao, was an American rapper, singer, and producer. Early life Tao was born Tero Smith in Columbus, Ohio, on June 26, 1977. Career Tao was signed to Definitive Jux. He was a member of several groups: S.A. Smash, The Weathermen, Central Services (with El-P), and the music collective Cardboard City. He was also part of the MHz crew with Copywrite, RJD2, Jakki tha Motamouth, and Tage Future. Partnering with Cage to form Nighthawks, the two crafted an album during a single three-day creative session. Death Tao died of lung cancer at the age of 30 on May 25, 2008, two years after being diagnosed.
