Super Singer 9 (சூப்பர் சிங்கர் 9) is an 2022 Indian Tamil-language reality television singing competition show, the nine season of the Super Singer show, which airs on Star Vijay an IST) starting from 19 November 2022. MRF Vapocure Paints is sponsor the this season. The show was hosted by Ma Ka Pa Anand and Priyanka Deshpande once again. The Judges of the show were the popular playback singers Anuradha Sriram, P. Unnikrishnan, Shweta Mohan and Benny Dayal. Format The show begins with a mega musical battle with auditioned top 20 contestants of this season. Each contestant is ranked as per her and his performance and the top scorer will be given a seat in the Super Five zone. Position in the super Five zone keeps changing based on their performance week on week. Similarly super Five zone will become super Three zone once the number of contestants reduce. Ma Ka Pa Anand is an Indian actor and television presenter who has been working with Star Vijay. He has hosted '' Super Singer, Athu Ithu Ethu'', ''Kings of Dance'', ''KPY Champions'', '' Mrs. Chinnathirai'', ''The Wall'', ''Cinema Kaaram Coffee'' and ''Start Music''.
