Weihai
Weihai (), formerly called Weihaiwei (), is a prefecture-level city and major seaport in easternmost Shandong province. It borders Yantai to the west and the Yellow Sea to the east, and is the closest Chinese city to South Korea. Weihai's population was 2,804,771 as of the 2020 Chinese census, of whom 1,164,730 lived in the current built-up (''or metro'') area of (Huancui District) even though Wendeng district to the south with 563,529 inhabitants is soon being conurbated. There are two county-level cities within Weihai; Rongcheng has a built up area with 714,211 inhabitants, while Rushan had 464,078 inhabitants in 2020. Shanxi
Shanxi (; ; formerly romanised as Shansi) is a landlocked province of the People's Republic of China and is part of the North China region. The capital and largest city of the province is Taiyuan, while its next most populated prefecture-level cities are Changzhi and Datong. Liu Zhenhua (; July 1921 – 11 July 2018) was a general ('' shangjiang'') of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and a diplomat of the People's Republic of China. He served as ambassador to Albania and Deputy Foreign Minister. Biography He was born in Tai'an, Shandong in July 1921. He joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1938. He was a veteran of the Second Sino-Japanese War, Chinese Civil War and Korean War. Tian Fengshan (; born October 1940 in Zhaoyuan County, Heilongjiang) is a former Chinese politician who was convicted of corruption and sentenced to life in prison. Biography Tian became a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in 1970. His positions include: Heilongjiang governor (February 1995), Minister of Land and Resources (March 2000). Tian was removed from this position in October 2003. In September 2004, the 4th plenary session of the CPC 16th National Congress announced ''Investigation Report on Tian Fengshan by Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of CPC'', and decided to deprive Tian of the membership of CPC Central Committee and expel him from the Party. Xu Shaoshi (; born October 1951) is a Chinese politician, and former Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China. Xu was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. He joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in December 1974. From April 2007 to March 2013, he was Minister of Land and Resources and the party chief of the Ministry. He is also the general supervisor of national land.
