Sultanah Of Kedah
Sultanah of Kedah is the title given to the Queen consort, consorts of the incumbent Sultan of Kedah, Sultan of the States and federal territories of Malaysia, Malaysian State of Kedah. The title was introduced by Badlishah of Kedah, Sultan Badlishah on 13 May 1943. Previous consorts of the Sultan of Kedah given no any official title. Sultanah is styled as ''Highness, Her Royal Highness'' (Malay language, Malay:''Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia''). Like many spouses of heads of state, the Sultanah of Kedah has no stipulated role or duties in the Kedah State Constitution. However, she accompanies the Sultan of Kedah to official functions and state visits, as well as hosting visiting heads of state and their spouses. Kedah
Kedah (), also known by its honorific Darul Aman (Islam), Aman and historically as Queda, is a States and federal territories of Malaysia, state of Malaysia, located in the northwestern part of Peninsular Malaysia. Merong Mahawangsa
Merong Mahawangsa is a legendary warrior and a ruler who is said to be the first king of Langkasuka, or modern day Kedah. His tale is mentioned in the Kedah Annals, where it mentions him as a hero who became the first king of Langkasuka. The legend of Merong Mahawangsa The Kedah Annals claimed that Merong was a descendant of dhul-qarnain(zulkarnain). According to the Kedah Annals, Merong was a fighter and ruler of an unknown kingdom. He travelled around from kingdom to kingdom, but mostly stayed in Rome. One day, he left Rome to do some trading in China. But then, after he passed the Arabian Sea, he was suddenly attacked by a legendary giant phoenix called Garuda, that destroyed most of Merong's fleet. The Kedah Sultanate (كسلطانن قدح) is a Muslim dynasty located in the Malay Peninsula. It was originally an independent state, but became a British protectorate in 1909. Its monarchy was abolished after it was added to the Malayan Union but was restored and added to the Malayan Union's successor, the Federation of Malaya. The information regarding the formation of this sultanate and the history before and after its creation comes from the " Kedah Annals". Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah ( Jawi: ;born 30 April 1942) is the 29th Sultan of Kedah, Malaysia. He was proclaimed Sultan on 12 September 2017, upon the death of his elder half brother, Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah. Che Puan Besar Hajjah Haminah, formerly known as Sultanah Haminah ( Jawi: ; ''née'' Haminah binti Hamidun; born 15 July 1953) is the former Sultanah consort of Malaysian State of Kedah and is the widow of Sultan Abdul Halim Mua'dzam Shah.
