Subarna Mustafa
Suborna Mustafa (born 2 December 1960) is a Bangladeshi television, film and stage actress. She is the current Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Reserved Women's Seat-4 since February 2019. She is a member of Bangladesh Awami League party. Mustafa is notable for her roles in television drama serials including ''Kothao Keu Nei'' (1990), ''Aaj Robibar'' (1999) and ''Ayomoy'' (1991). She won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress twice for her performance in the films ''Notun Bou'' (1983) and '' Gohin Baluchor'' (2017). She was awarded Ekushey Padak in culture category by the Government of Bangladesh in 2019. Nalchity Upazila
Nalchity ( bn, নলছিটি) is an upazila of Jhalokati District in the division of Barisal, Bangladesh. History Some family members of Isa Khan moved from Sarail to Nalchity. Abdul Ghani Khan, a 14th-generation descendant of Isa Khan, is the current head of this branch of the family. The region later became a free looting field and slave trading zone for Magh and Portuguese pirates. In 1654, Shah Shuja built two forts in one night in the village of Shujabad to better control the region, and to resist and suppress the piracy. One was built with mud, and the other with bricks. The ruins of the forts can be seen from the Barisal-Jhalokati highway. In 1924, the British authorities established a thana (police administrative headquarters) in Nalchity. ATN Bangla ( bn, এটিএন বাংলা), 'ATN' being the acronym of the unused Asian Television Network, is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language satellite and cable television channel owned by Multimedia Production Company. It is based in the Kawran Bazar neighborhood of Dhaka. ATN Bangla is the first privately owned television channel and the first to broadcast on satellite in Bangladesh. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. Mamunur Rashid (born 29 February 1948) is a Bangladeshi actor, director and scriptwriter. He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2012 and Bangla Academy Literary Award in 1982 by the Government of Bangladesh. Early life and education Rashid was born on 29 February 1948 in the village Bhabandatta under Ghatail Upazila in Tangail District. He is the eldest of five siblings. Afzal Hossain (born 19 July 1954) is a Bangladeshi actor, director, writer and painter. Early life Hossain was born in Parulia, Satkhira in erstwhile East Bengal. Mohammad Zahirullah (19 August 1935 – disappeared 30 January 1972), known as Zahir Raihan, was a Bangladeshi novelist, writer and filmmaker. He is most notable for his documentary ''Stop Genocide'' (1971), made during the Bangladesh Liberation War.
