Strada Statale 131 Charles Felix
The Strada statale 131 (SS 131), is the major road in Sardinia, Italy. It is a freeway that connects the towns of Porto Torres and Cagliari via Sassari, Macomer and Oristano. At 229 km, it is considered the "spinal cord" of Sardinia. It is a part of the E25 European route. History Building works begun in the 19th century, under the Kingdom of Charles Felix of Sardinia, the road followed the route of the ancient Roman road Turris Lybissonis-Caralis. The infrastructure was modernized under fascism, and in the 1970s was rebuilt, becoming a '' Superstrada'' (Dual carriageway), some stretches are classified a second category extra-urban road, and the speed limit is 90 km/h, while other ones are considered first category extra-urban road with higher speed limits (110 km/h). ANAS
''Anas'' is a genus of dabbling ducks. It includes the pintails, most teals, and the mallard and its close relatives. It formerly included additional species but following the publication of a molecular phylogenetic study in 2009 the genus was split into four separate genera. The genus now contains 31 living species. The name ''Anas'' is the Latin for "duck". Systematics The genus ''Anas'' was introduced by the Swedish naturalist Carl Linnaeus in 1758 in the tenth edition of his '' Systema Naturae''. ''Anas'' is the Latin word for a duck. The genus formerly included additional species. In 2009 a large molecular phylogentic study was published that compared mitochondrial DNA sequences from ducks, geese and swans in the family Anatidae. The results confirmed some of the conclusions of earlier smaller studies and indicated that the genus as then defined was non-monophyletic. European route E25 is a north–south European route from Hook of Holland in the Netherlands, to Palermo in Italy which includes ferry crossings from Genoa to Bastia (Corsica), from Bonifacio to Porto Torres (Sardinia) and from Cagliari to Palermo (Sicily). A dual carriageway ( BE) or divided highway ( AE) is a class of highway with carriageways for traffic travelling in opposite directions separated by a central reservation (BrE) or median (AmE). Roads with two or more carriageways which are designed to higher standards with controlled access are generally classed as motorways, freeways, etc., rather than dual carriageways. A road without a central reservation is a single carriageway regardless of the number of lanes.
