Storm Warren
Storm Warren (born November 4, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for Hapoel Ramat Gan Givatayim B.C. of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He played college basketball for Louisiana State University before playing professionally in the Netherlands, Finland, France and Israel. Warren was named the Israeli National League Finals MVP in 2018. Early life and college career Warren attended Richwood High School in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, where he was named MVP of the Louisiana Sports Writers Association Class AAA team (third time as a member) and member of the All-Tournament team at the Top 28 state tournament. Warren played college basketball for the Louisiana State University's Tigers, where he averaged 8.2 points and 5 rebounds in his senior year. Warren finished his college career with 500 rebounds (608)-100 blocks (121)-100 steals (112), just the third player to reach those marks combined in LSU history. Warren Storm
Warren Storm (February 18, 1937 – September 7, 2021) was an American drummer and vocalist, known as a pioneer of the musical genre swamp pop; a combination of rhythm and blues, country and western, and Cajun music and black Creole music. Background and career Born Warren Schexnider on February 18, 1937, in Leroy, Louisiana, he moved to nearby Abbeville, Louisiana, to attend first grade. Storm learned to play drums and guitar from his father, a Cajun musician. In the early 1950s, he began to perform publicly with Larry Brasso and the Rhythmaires. Around this time he befriended fellow Abbeville musician Bobby Charles, and the two would travel to New Orleans to hear black rhythm and blues artists in the local nightclubs, particularly Fats Domino and drummers Earl Palmer and Charles "Hungry" Williams. Liga Leumit ( he, ליגה לאומית, lit. ''National League'') is the second tier level league of basketball competition in Israel. It is the league level that is below the first tier Israeli Basketball Premier League, Israeli Premier League. Performance Index Rating (PIR) is a basketball mathematical statistical formula that is used by the Euroleague Basketball Company's first and second tier competitions, the EuroLeague and the EuroCup, as well as various European national domestic and regional leagues. It is a part of the Tendex basketball rating system. It is also variously referred to as Performance Index Ranking, Rating, Ranking, Evaluation, Valuation, and Efficiency. It is similar to, but not exactly the same as, the NBA's Efficiency (EFF) stat. History Performance Index Rating was created in 1991, by the Spanish ACB League, which started using it to determine the league's MVP of the Week and regular season MVP awards. In 2004, the ACB League changed the criteria by which it chooses the regular season MVP award, but it continues to use PIR to determine the MVP of each week of the season. Donar, also known as Donar Groningen, is a professional basketball club based in Groningen, Netherlands. The club competes in the BNXT League and its home arena is MartiniPlaza, which has a seating capacity of 4,350 people.
