The character, created by Gerry Conway and Tony DeZuniga, first appeared in ''Marvel Preview '' #2 (Aug. 1975). Frank Jr. was Frank Castle Sr.'s son and youngest child. Frank Jr. took after his dad, and was one of the main reasons from retiring from the Marines. One day, the Castle family decided to have a picnic in Central Park to which they accidentally witness a mob execution and are gunned down. Frank Sr. is the only survivor with his family's death which sends him over the edge into being the Punisher. The Hood (Parker Robbins) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Brian K. Vaughan, and artists Kyle Hotz and Eric Powell, the character was introduced in his own self-titled limited series, which started with ''Hood'' #1 (July 2002).
