Steria (creek)
The Steria or Cervo is a stream of Liguria (Italy). Geography The creek is formed at Monte Lago (Ligurian Prealps, 774 m) in comune of Villa Faraldi, and flows at first heading South-East; near Riva Faraldi it turns South and receives from the left hand ''Fontana'' and ''Paniga'' creeks. After leaving Villa Faraldi it enters San Bartolomeo al Mare municipality; between Molino del Fico and borgata Freschi gets the waters of its main tributary, ''torrente di Tovo''. The Steria marks then the border between the municipalities of San Bartolomeo al Mare (West) and Cervo following southwards and, after being crossed by Genoa–Ventimiglia railway, Autostrada A10 and ''Aurelia'' national road, ends its course in the Ligurian Sea. Ligurian Alps
The Ligurian Alps are a mountain range in northwestern Italy. A small part is located in France. They form the south-western extremity of the Alps, separated from the Apennines by the Colle di Cadibona. The Col de Tende and the Vermenagna valley separate them from the Maritime Alps. They form the border between Piedmont in the north and Liguria in the south. Geography Administratively the range is divided between the Italian provinces of Cuneo, Imperia and Savona and the French department of Alpes-Maritimes (south-western slopes). The Ligurian Alps are drained by the Tanaro River, along with other tributaries of the Po River, on the Piedmontese side, and by several smaller rivers that flow directly to the Mediterranean Sea on the Ligurian and French side. Cyprinidae
Cyprinidae is a family of freshwater fish commonly called the carp or minnow family. It includes the carps, the true minnows, and relatives like the barbs and barbels. Cyprinidae is the largest and most diverse fish family and the largest vertebrate animal family in general with about 3,000 species, of which only 1,270 remain extant, divided into about 370 genera. Merula (creek)
The Merula is a stream of Liguria (Italy). Geography The creek is formed not far from the centre of Testico from the union of several streams descending the eastern slopes of Monte Torre (990 m). At first it flows down heading East and then turns South towards the Ligurian Sea. Close to its mouth, which is located in Marina di Anrora, the Marula is crossed by Autostrada dei Fiori, Genoa–Ventimiglia railway and State highway nr.1 (''Via Aurelia''). The Merula basin (49 km2) is wholly included in the Province of Savona. Main tributaries * Right hand: ** rio Moltedo ** rio Domo; * left hand: **rio Tigorella, ** rio Metta. The San Pietro or Evigno is a stream of Liguria (Italy). Geography The creek is formed close to the village of Evigno (comune of Diano Arentino) from the union of several streams descending the south-eastern slopes of monte Torre (990 m). Going SSW, a direction the creek will keep till to its mouth, it reaches Diano San Pietro where it gets from the left rio Beste, its main tributary. San Pietro watercourse marks for a long stretch the border between the comuni of Diano Castello (West side) and Diano San Pietro. Not faraway from its mouth, which is located in comune of Diano Marina, the San Pietro is crossed by Genoa–Ventimiglia railway, Autostrada dei Fiori and State highway nr.1 (''Via Aurelia'').
