Stephen R. Hudis (born May 17, 1957) is an English actor, stunt coordinator, and film director, director. Career As a child, he worked as an actor in the 1972 John Wayne film ''The Cowboys'', and starred in the 1973-1974 TV series ''Skiboy'', produced for ITC Entertainment, ITC by Derrick Sherwin and set and filmed in Switzerland. He later established a career as a stunt man, stunt driver, and stunt coordinator, working on such films and television series as ''Miracle Mile (film), Miracle Mile'', ''Route 666 (film), Route 666'', ''Cousin Sarah'', ''Star Trek: Voyager'', ''Adam-12'', and ''CSI: NY''. ''Miracle Mile'' is a 1988 American apocalyptic thriller film written and directed by Steve De Jarnatt, and starring Anthony Edwards and Mare Winningham. The film depicts the panic surrounding a supposed doomsday brought on by a sudden outbreak of war and its oncoming nuclear holocaust. Both the period and nighttime setting leave characters and the audience uncertain as to whether or not the doomsday claims hold any authenticity. Derrick Sherwin
Derrick George Sherwin (16 April 1936 – 17 October 2018) was an English television producer, writer, story editor and actor. After beginning his career in the theatre, Sherwin became an actor in television before moving into writing. He became the story editor on '' Doctor Who'' and, as the producer of the series in 1969, he oversaw the transition from black-and-white to colour by producing Patrick Troughton's final story and Jon Pertwee's first. He also co-produced ''Paul Temple'' for the BBC. Early life Sherwin began his career in the theatre and worked as a junior set designer, scenic artist, scene shifter, stage manager and lighting designer.
