Squash TV is the official live and video-on-demand website of online service exclusively for squash developed by the Professional Squash Association, the most important governing body for the men's and women's professional squash circuit. The website was launched in 2009 by the PSA during the last World Series event of this year, the Saudi International 2009. The website covers all the best tournament in the world, including the PSA World Series and several of the prestigious PSA International tournaments. The iconic commentator of this channel is Joey Barrington supplemented by the former world number 4, Paul Johnson both of England, and in a few tournaments by Simon Parke, Chris Gordon, Lee Drew or Johnny Williams. Professional Squash Association
The Professional Squash Association (PSA) is the governing body for the men's and women's professional squash circuit. The body operates in a similar fashion to the ATP and the WTA for tennis. The PSA's highest professional level, the PSA World Tour involves over 200 tournaments annually around the world. Over 800 players from all the 5 continents (over 60 different countries represented ) are registered with the PSA and rankings are updated monthly based on players' performances. The PSA World Tour 2009 is the international squash tour organised circuit organized by the Professional Squash Association (PSA) for the 2009 squash season. The most important tournament in the series is the World Open held in Kuwait. PSA World Series
The PSA World Series (formerly known as the PSA Super Series) was a series of men's and women's squash tournaments which were part of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour for the squash season. The tournaments were some of the most prestigious events on the men's tour. The best-performing players in the World Series events qualified for the annual PSA World Series Finals tournament. Each year, several tournaments on the tour were designated World Series events. These included major events such as the World Championship, the British Open, the Hong Kong Open or the Tournament of Champions. Then, early the next year, the eight best-performing players from the Super Series events were invited to compete in the PSA World Series Finals (a similar event to the ATP World Tour Finals). Paul Johnson (born 18 July 1972) is a former professional squash player from England. Squash career Paul Johnson played for Greenwich in the London Youth Games when growing up and was inducted into the London Youth Games Hall of Fame in 2011. Johnson reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 4 in 1999. At the 1998 Commonwealth Games, he won a gold medal for England in Kuala Lumpur, in the men's doubles (partnering Mark Chaloner), and a bronze medal in the men's singles.
