Sport In Madeira
On the island of Madeira, a large number of different sports are practiced, both outdoor and indoor the various facilities available throughout the island. Amongst the variety of sports practiced on the island, it includes the following: Football The first organised game of football took place in 1875 in Camacha, organised by the Madeira born Harry Hinton (it was the first organised football match anywhere in Portugal). Madeira has two football teams in the Portuguese Liga (Portugal's top league): C.S. Marítimo and C.D. Nacional The Al Nassr FC and Portugal footballer Cristiano Ronaldo was born in Madeira and played for CF Andorinha and Nacional before going to Sporting Lisbon. C.S. CS Gaz Metan Mediaș
Clubul Sportiv Gaz Metan Mediaș (), commonly known as Gaz Metan Mediaș or simply as Gaz Metan, was a Romanian professional football club based in Mediaș, Sibiu County. Founded in 1945 as ''Karres Mediaș'', the team spent most of its existence in the second division. It also participated in 16 seasons of the Liga I, the highest level of the Romanian league system, and lost a Cupa României final to CCA București in 1951. The UEFA Europa League (abbreviated as UEL, or sometimes, UEFA EL), formerly the UEFA Cup, is an annual football club competition organised since 1971 by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for eligible European football clubs. Ouwo Moussa Maâzou (born 25 August 1988) commonly known as Moussa Maâzou, is a Nigerien professional footballer who plays as a striker for French amateur club FC Bassin Piennois. Career Maazou began his senior career as a player with Niger's Army club, ASFAN of Niamey. In 2005–2006 Maazou scored 17 goals. In the 2006–2007 season with ASFAN, he scored 20 goals in 34 matches. In January 2008, Belgian side Sporting Lokeren signed him. He scored six goals in his first nine matches. On 3 January 2009, Maâzou signed a contract with CSKA Moscow. Moussa Marega (born 14 April 1991) is a professional footballer who plays as a second striker for Saudi Professional League club Al Hilal. Born in France, he represents the Mali national team. He began his career in France, playing no higher than the Championnat National. After one year with Espérance in Tunisia, he moved to Marítimo of the Primeira Liga in 2015.
