John Scott Everton (March 7, 1908 – January 23, 2003) was an American college president and diplomat. He was educated at Colgate University Divinity School, Cambridge, and Yale. He worked on the research staff at the Ford Foundation. He served as president of Kalamazoo College in 1949–53, and as U.S. Ambassador to Burma in 1961–63. Clive Harold Everton (born 7 September 1937) is a sports commentator, journalist, author and former professional snooker and English billiards player. He founded '' Snooker Scene'' magazine, which was first published (as ''World Snooker'') in 1971, and continues as editor as of September 2021. He has authored over twenty books about cue sports since 1972. He began commentating on snooker for BBC radio in 1972, and for BBC Television from 1978 until 2010. In the snooker boom years of the 1980s, he commentated alongside Ted Lowe and Jack Karnehm, and became the leading commentator in the 1990s. As an amateur player, he won junior titles in English billiards, and the Welsh billiards title several times. He was five-times runner up in the English amateur billiards championship, and twice a semi-finalist at the world amateur championship. Sir Everton DeCourcy Weekes, KCMG, GCM, OBE (26 February 19251 July 2020) was a cricketer from Barbados. A right-handed batsman, he was known as one of the hardest hitters in world cricket. Weekes holds the record for consecutive Test hundreds, with five. Along with Frank Worrell and Clyde Walcott, he formed what was known as "The Three Ws" of the West Indies cricket team. Weekes played in 48 Test matches for the West Indies cricket team from 1948 to 1958. He continued to play first-class cricket until 1964, surpassing 12,000 first-class runs in his final innings. Éverton Augusto de Barros Ribeiro (born 10 April 1989) is a Brazilian footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Flamengo and the Brazil national team. Everton Ramos da Silva (born 8 June 1983), known as just Everton, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Portuguese club Pedras Rubras. Career Barueri Everton joined Heracles after playing in the youth of Grêmio Barueri. Everton Luiz Guimarães Bilher (born 24 May 1988), commonly known as Everton Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Belgian club Beveren.
