Sot Chitalada
Sot Chitalada ( th, สด จิตรลดา, ), born as Chaovalit Wongcharoean ( th, เชาวลิต วงศ์เจริญ; ; 5 May 1962, in Chonburi, Thailand) was formerly twice WBC and Lineal Flyweight Champion, having defended the title against nine boxers in total. Professional boxing career Chitalada built a reputation as a Muay Thai fighter under the name Chaovalit Sitphraphrom ( th, เชาวลิต ศิษย์พระพรหม) before making the transition to professional boxing. He fought numerous times with Muay Thai legend Samart Payakaroon. After winning his first four professional fights, he challenged WBC Light flyweight Champion Jung-Koo Chang on 31 March 1984, losing a twelve-round decision. Freddy Castillo (born June 15, 1955) is a Mexican retired professional boxer who is the former WBC light flyweight champion, WBC and Lineal flyweight champion. Pro career Known as "Chato Loco", Castillo turned pro in 1971 and won the WBC light flyweight title with a TKO win over Luis Estaba in 1978. He lost the belt in his first defense later that year to Netrnoi Sor Vorasingh by split decision. He later moved up in weight and in 1982 won the WBC and lineal flyweight titles with a decision win over Prudencio Cardona. The Royal Thai Army Stadium ( th, สนามกีฬากองทัพบก) is a multi-purpose stadium on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road in the Phaya Thai of north Bangkok, Thailand. The Olympic Gymnastics Arena (), also known as the KSPO Dome since 2018, is an indoor arena located within the Olympic Park in Seoul, South Korea. It has a capacity of 15,000 and can be extended upto 20,000. It was constructed between 31 August 1984 and 30 April 1986, to host the gymnastics competitions at the 1988 Summer Olympics. The roof was designed by David H. Geiger. It is a self-supporting cable dome – the first of its kind ever built – with a four-layer fabric cladding. Chang Jung-Koo (, born February 4, 1963) is a South Korean former professional boxer whoe competed from 1980 to 1991. He held the WBC light-flyweight title from 1983 to 1988. Professional career Chang took the tough road to becoming a world champion. In Chang's 15th pro fight, he faced former WBA flyweight champion Alfonso Lopez. Chang knocked out Lopez in the 3rd round. Next, Chang faced future IBF flyweight champion Jong-Kwan Chung, stopping Chung in the 6th round. In his 18th fight, and last before challenging for his first world title, Chang scored a 10-round unanimous decision over former WBC light-flyweight champion Amado Ursua.
