Sophia Patsalides
Sophia Patsalidou ( gr, Σοφία Πατσαλίδου, born 16 December 2000), known professionally as Sophia Patsalides, is a Greek-Cypriot singer. At 22 years old she holds a BA and master in music and performance. Her latest singles are developed with Sophie and the Giants producer Jo Pereira and co-written with Olivia Dean's songwriter, Glen Roberts. She recently opened American artist's LP concert in Limassol and is set to open Israeli star Hanan Ben Ari in February 2023. She left high school at 16 years old to pursue music at university level. Earlier in her career, she represented her nation at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with her song "I pio omorfi mera" (The most wonderful day). Greek Cypriots or Cypriot Greeks ( el, Ελληνοκύπριοι, Ellinokýprioi, tr, Kıbrıs Rumları) are the ethnic Greek population of Cyprus, forming the island's largest ethnolinguistic community. Hanan Ben Ari
Hanan Ben Ari ( he, חָנָן בֶּן אָרִי) is an Israeli singer, songwriter, and musician. Biography Ben Ari was born and raised in Karnei Shomron, Israel. Ben Ari's father, Herzl Ben Ari, was former head of the Karnei Shomron Council. Ben Ari studied at the state-religious school "Barkai" and at the local high school, "Halichot Olam". Musically influenced by his father, who is also a bard and cantor, he began to write music at the age of 13. He published some of his first poems on the "" website. At the age of 17, he began studying at a hesder yeshiva and served in the IDF in the Netzah Yehuda Battalion. In 2008, he married Hadas. Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 was the 12th edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and took place, for the first time, in Malta. This was the third time that the contest was hosted by the winning country. Maltese national broadcaster PBS was the host broadcaster for the event. The final took place on 15 November 2014 and was in the Malta Shipbuilding in Marsa, near Valletta. Moira Delia, a Maltese television personality, hosted the show, marking the first time in Junior Eurovision history that there was only one presenter of the show. On 21 July 2014 it was revealed that Sophia Patsalides would represent Cyprus in the contest with the song "I pio omorfi mera".
