Sonny Mayo
Sonny Mayo (born July 16, 1971) is an American guitarist. Career Mayo began playing in a thrash metal band called Silence in the late 1980s. Silence (John Mayes, Benjamin Gaither, Louie Denslow, Jason Robinson and Sonny), regularly sold out venues in the DC Metro area including the "Bayou" in Georgetown. While with Silence, he released a nine track CD, ''Vision'', and recorded a three song tape with Alex Perialas (producer -Anthrax, Overkill, S.O.D.). One of the songs from the tape, "One Race" was made into a black and white video filmed at the Bayou (note, the director of the video was John Brenkus, who now does Sport Science on ESPN). He then joined M.F. Pitbulls with Shannon Larkin (Wrathchild America, Ugly Kid Joe, Amen, now Godsmack) on vocals, Jamie Miller ( Snot, Bad Religion, The Start) on drums, and John "Tumor" Fahnestock ( Snot, Amen, Noise Within) on bass. Ugly Kid Joe
Ugly Kid Joe is an American hard rock band from Isla Vista, California, formed in 1989. The band's name spoofs the glam metal band Pretty Boy Floyd's name. To date, Ugly Kid Joe have released five full-length albums, two compilation albums and two EPs. Their best selling records are ''As Ugly as They Wanna Be'' (1991) and ''America's Least Wanted'' (1992), which were both certified double platinum by the RIAA; the former is notable for being the first EP to go platinum. The band broke up in 1997, but announced a reunion in 2010 and has ever since both reformed and recommenced activity. Hard To Swallow
''Hard to Swallow'' is the third studio album by American rapper Vanilla Ice. Released by Republic Records in 1998, the album was the first album Vanilla Ice recorded after a four-year hiatus following the 1994 release of '' Mind Blowin''. Vanilla Ice intended the new musical direction found on the album as an attempt to move away from hip hop music and discard his former pop image. ''Hard to Swallow'' instead featured what he described as "skate rock", a fusion of heavy metal, punk rock and hip hop. The album features appearances from Amen vocalist Casey Chaos, Bloodhound Gang vocalist Jimmy Pop, and Insane Poetry front man Cyco. ''Uglier Than They Used ta Be'' is the fourth album by the American rock band Ugly Kid Joe, released in Europe on September 18, 2015, and in North America on October 16. On February 4, 2015, Ugly Kid Joe started a crowdfunding effort through PledgeMusic.com to fund their new album called, ''Uglier Than They Used ta Be''. Dave Fortman (born July 11, 1967) is an American record producer and musician. He is the guitarist for rock band Ugly Kid Joe, and has worked with bands such as Superjoint Ritual, Snot, Atomship, Eyehategod, Mudvayne, Otep, Slipknot (on their fourth studio album, titled ''All Hope Is Gone''), and Simple Plan, as well as on both of Evanescence's multi-platinum selling albums ''The Open Door'' and ''Fallen''. Early years Fortman was born in Orlando, Florida. His mother Marge Ann Singleton Fortman was a Kindergarten teacher and his father Jon Richey Fortman a retired Biology Professor. His early musical years were developed in Covington Louisiana where he was in jr high school marching band as a trumpet player. ''Stairway to Hell'' is an EP by the American alternative rock band Ugly Kid Joe. It was released digitally on June 5, 2012, and physical version surfaced a month later, July 9. This is their first studio recording since 1996's ''Motel California'', and their first EP since 1991's ''As Ugly as They Wanna Be''. A video for its single "Devil's Paradise" was released on May 24, 2012 to promote it. Five days later, the EP was available for streaming in its entirety. Another music video for the "I'm Alright" song was released on November 12, 2012. The title is a portmanteau of Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" and AC/DC's ''Highway to Hell'', with the packaging using both bands' iconic typefaces. Mudvayne is an American heavy metal band formed in Peoria, Illinois in 1996. Known for their sonic experimentation, face and body paint, masks and uniforms, the band has sold over six million records worldwide, including nearly three million in the United States. The group consists of guitarist Greg Tribbett, drummer Matthew McDonough, lead vocalist Chad Gray, and bassist Ryan Martinie. Divine Heresy is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles, California by founder of Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares and Devolved drummer John Sankey. Although the band's origins trace back to 2002, Divine Heresy was officially formed in 2006. The band currently consists of guitarist Cazares, former Vital Remains drummer and current World Under Blood drummer Tim Yeung, former Nile bassist Joe Payne and vocalist Travis Neal.
