Dhandhuka
Dhandhuka is a city and a municipality in the Ahmedabad district in the state of Gujarat, India. Moreover, it is a part of the Bhal region. Dhandhuka is said to have been founded by, and to take its name from, Koli Dhana Mer, or rather Mehd, the second of the thirteen sons of the Sonang Mehd who in early times came into Gujarat from Sind. No specific year is mentioned in ''Ras Mala'' by Alexander Kinloch Forbes. Having no son, Dhana Mehd is said to have given the town as a lasting gift to a party of 400 Brahman refugees from the wrath of Ebhal Walo. Bhati is a clan of Rajputs History The Bhatis reportedly originated in Mathura through a common ancestor named Bhati, who was a descendant of Pradyumn. The Khant Koli, or Khaant Kolee (Hindi: खांट कोली) is a subcaste of the Koli caste of Gujarat.
