Amnokgang Sports Club is a North Korean multi-sports club. Based in Pyongyang, the club competes in the DPR Korea Premier Football League. History Affiliated with the Ministry of People's Security, it was founded on 19 September 1947. The club is best known for its men's and women's football teams. The men's football team presently plays in the DPR Korea Premier League, and in various domestic cup competitions. The North Korea national football team ( Munhwaŏ ko, 조선민주주의인민공화국 국가종합팀, recognized as Korea DPR by FIFA) represents North Korea in men's international football and it is controlled by the DPR Korea Football Association, the governing body for Football in North Korea. The team represents both FIFA and Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
