Snackmasters
''Snackmasters'' is a BAFTA-nominated British television programme, presented by Fred Sirieix and Jayde Adams, and produced by Optomen Television and Channel 4. The programme was broadcast on Channel 4 and streams on All 4. The programme sees two professional chefs compete to recreate a brand-name snack or fast food item. The chefs present their replica snack to a panel of judges composed of workers involved with the manufacture of the snack, and the chef who is decided to have most faithfully recreated the snack wins the competition. During each episode, presenter Jayde Adams visits the factory that manufactures each snack, comparing how accurately the chefs are recreating the process. ''Snackmasters'' was nominated for a BAFTA award in the Best Feature category at the 2020 British Academy Television Awards. Snackmasters (Australian TV Series)
''Snackmasters'' was an Australian cooking competition television show based on the BAFTA-nominated British series of Snackmasters, the same name. Broadcast by the Nine Network, it was hosted by Scott Pickett and Poh Ling Yeow, with Yvie Jones as a co-presenter. In September 2021, it was announced that Nine had commissioned a local version of the series set to air in the fourth quarter of 2021. The series was originally intended to premiere on 22 November 2021, however the series ultimately premiered on 29 November 2021. A second season started airing from 4 December 2022. Monster Munch
Monster Munch are a British baked corn snack created by Smiths in 1977 and manufactured by Walkers. They are aimed at children and widely consumed in the United Kingdom. Flavours include Roast Beef, Pickled Onion and Sweet and Spicy Flamin' Hot. On the issue of whether the snacks are shaped like monster claws or individual monsters, Walkers said "whilst we think of them as monsters' feet, we don't want that to stop people from coming up with their own imaginative ideas." Jayde Adams
Jayde Pricilla Gail Adams (born 26 November 1984) is a British comedian, actress, writer and opera singer from Bristol. She is the winner of the 2014 Funny Women Award. Early life Born in Bedminster, Bristol, Adams attended her aunt's freestyle disco dancing classes with her sister for 13 years. She moved to South Wales at the age of 18 and studied drama, theatre and media at The University of Glamorgan. In Wales, Adams performed experimental theatre and contemporary dance at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay. She currently lives in Bristol. Fred Sirieix
Frédéric Sirieix (, ; born 27 January 1972) is a French maître d'hôtel based in the United Kingdom, best known for appearing on Channel 4's '' First Dates'', and BBC Two's '' Million Pound Menu''. Sirieix grew up in Limoges, France and trained to work in front of house in a Michelin-starred restaurant in France before working at La Tante Claire in London. Until 2019, he was the general manager of Michelin-starred restaurant ''Galvin at Windows'' at the London Hilton. Sirieix is the founder of National Waiters Day, the training tool the Art of Service, and the Galvin Cup and Galvin's Chance charities. Anna Haugh
Anna Haugh (born 6 November 1980) is an Irish chef, restaurateur and TV personality. Biography Born in Dublin, Haugh grew up in Tallaght. She attended Presentation Secondary School in Terenure and trained on a professional cookery course at the TU Dublin School of Culinary Arts and Food Technology in Dublin. She began her career in the city, with Derry Clarke of L'Ecrivain. Haugh then moved to London where she worked with Philip Howard, Shane Osborn and Gordon Ramsay. Quality Street (confectionery)
Quality Street is a line of tinned and boxed toffees, chocolates and candy, sweets, first manufactured in 1936 by Mackintosh's in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England. It was named after J. M. Barrie's play ''Quality Street (play), Quality Street''. Since 1988, the confectionery has been produced by Nestlé.
